Beautiful game tonight, although we can't count on the Magic to play like this everytime. Still, we came out with energy for all 48 minutes. The Lakers want it and hopefully they're going to get it this year. |

They lost by 25 and the Lakers only had one guy go off. Imagine when everyone puts in Work?
I believe that, that is what is going to happen. The lakers seen that the Magic are much of an easier team then Houston and the nugs and everyone will go off.
When you have Luke driving to the basket, you know everyone else is thinking it's over
O and don't think i didn't see the earlier comments by the trolls that the "lakers were soft and that you will come back next year."
You posers!
LG needs to put in trick questions in the regestering process in-order to keep the poser fans from registering.
Lakers win sunday lose a close one game 3 take game 4 and 6. |

just got back from the game...im hoarse but had a blast...some magic fans bought out an entire section (329) had to be 50+ of them wearing capes...but for some reason we didnt hear much from them after halftime... _________________ RIP.....Pop (AJ Sr.) 7/09/23-01/20/09
Thanks for 35 years of love, sacrifice and joy...also for taking me to all the lakers games at the GW forum as a youngster and helping me understand the joy that comes from watching a lakers game |

Is anyone else feeling unsatisfied right now?
Something's different this time for me, last year I (and assumably the Lakers based on their performance) was just happy when we won against Boston (and the refs).
This year, I am happy to see the Lakers play an inspired game but I still expect even more effort Sunday and the game after and the game after until it's finished. Lakers HAVE TO rip out Orlando's heart out and squeeze it still beating in front of their dying face. Complete focus.
Nothing less than sweep, nothin's over till its over, never quit, get it done, I want everyone from Kobe to Mbenga to not be happy with this one win, run as hard as they can and play as smart as they can. No lead is enough. No wins are enough. Celebrating is AFTER the close out game.
I hope they are all mad right now.......

Are defense was good even though Orlando did have a few open looks at the three.
Were just fortunate they weren't really knocking them down.
We GOTTA come out stronger in Game 2!!

Now that's what you call a statement game. Loved seeing Kobe and Pau work that 2 man game to death. Loved seeing guys like Bynum and Luke contributing as well. Really good defense with rotations and closeouts. Keep this up and let's take game 2!! |

Yup - 'tis true.
The Lakers sold the entire section to Magic fans - I've never heard (or seen) of that previously. |

John Ireland said that those were Orlando Magic employees and that the team flew them out here to attend the game. _________________ "I think everybody should like everybody"
