because if they dont....we could be in some big trouble vs. the magic.

DON'T DOUBLE TEAM DWIGHT! I think playing him straight up and staying at home on the shooters, we'll be good. Don't double because he'll kick it out and the Magic are great at swinging the ball to get wide open 3's.

Ariza got the best closing speed in the NBA imo, he will be huge for us on defense

Do we play Pau vs Lewis??????????? Lewis will get his open looks on the outside, but Pau would go to work on him on offense, which coach will make the change ?

Basically. But the lakers defensive schemes defies logic so who knows.

Orlando is basically a weird version of the Spurs: better outside shooters but their big is not as skilled as Duncan.

We need to give Pau and Drew as many touches as they can to get Howard in foul trouble

Drew has been under orders to whack anyone in the lane, those orders need to be rescinded for this series, play D12 straight up with your arms over your head and stay on the floor

Can someone tell me why I shouldn't be so worried about Gasol having to guard either Rashard Lewis or Dwight Howard?

I agree... let Howard go one-on-one as much as possible without fouling him. If he scores 50, he scores 50. Shut down everyone else. Attack Howard and Lewis on the other end to get them into foul trouble.

If Drew is in the game, taking advantage of Lewis on Pau will be key.

Hollinger said he's heard that there is no chance.

We are known we can beat Magics because their most effective player Jameer Nelson suffered the injury. As a team we have a tendency to let PG position destroy us. I feel like Lakers will do a good job against this team because they are more of a jump shooting team. They move the ball very well and play off of Dwight Howard. The best thing to do is swarm Dwight for couple of possessions and see what he does with the ball. If we allow them to beat us with their jumpshoot we are in trouble. and If they go inside on us we can be worse but its take one or the other. They are a deadly team but Mamba poisonous attack will paralyze their team.
