Hey guys:)
So I flew across the globe (17 hours flight actually) from Norway to LA on monday for game 5
I'm a HUGE Lakers-fan, and although I only have like 50 posts here on LG, I do write on a norwegian site, and I stay up every game-night all year long (even with the time-zone 9 hours ahead of LA time).
So anyway here are some videos and stuff from wednesdays game. I was up in 333. I don't like to brag, but me and some guy behind me in row 14, we stood up all second half and tried to get the section with us with LETS GO LAKERS and DEFENSE and everything!
I just absolutely LOVE being in staples, last time I was here was back in 2001 vs Portland in the first round series. The erea outside staples sure has changed since then. From what I can remember there was a huge parking-lot where the Nokia Building is now...

Hey, another Euro-fan who's been living according to PST for years here! Should be a great experience for you. I'd been planning for a LA trip in June for months but I won't be able to make that because of my final exams and some other stuff.
Anyway, since this is a Euro-fan's thread, I wanted to share some videos of a little Laker meeting here in Turkey. We have a web site for Turkish Laker fans ( www.lakerstr.com ) and we've been organizing meetings through this site to watch some of the important games since last season. We were in Ankara (the capital city of Turkey) last week for the Game 4 with 17 people, which is not a bad amount since Ankara is not the biggest city of Turkey (It's Istanbul by far) and the game was at 4:00 am for Turkey. And why didn't we watch the game in Istanbul? Because we are keeping the big Istanbul meeting for the Finals
Here are some videos of our chanting post-game walk on Ankara streets with the joy of the victory at 7:00 am. (including some bad language but in Turkish
just mad props to you. absolutly love love it. hope like 2001, you attended another championship run game
btw, are there many NBA fans in norway. are kobe and pau big manes there?
No, unfortunately not. They stopped showing NBA on tv like 10 years ago, and even the top league in norwegian basketball doesn't get TV-time
There has been one norwegian NBA player, Torgeir Bryn, he actually played for the Clippers, and scored 4 points in his career But if you go like anywhere else in Europe basketball and NBA is much, much bigger

i live in Holland, at the time the Lakers finish their games, my parents wake up @ 7 o clock in the morning and go to work, so you know the time differential.
i'm planning to go to LA and Vegas in june 2010, when i finish my master programme. Hopefully I will run good @ the pokertables so i can buy some sweet spots in Staples.

Thanks for posting that. It's cool to see Lakers fans from across the globe. And you guys are really hardcore, walking around at 7am cheering a Laker victory from half a world away. That's a true Lakers fan.
Are there more Orlando Magic fans than Lakers fan in Turkey, you know because Hedo Turkoglu is doing so well?
