Hopefully Bynum's confidence has been boosted by the last game and he is as affective tonight. Less minutes for Lamar would be a good thing aswell as not to risk his back anymore then needs be.

Now we know that Denver's up next it's easy to start thinking about how best to handle them. But we can't forget, we still have to beat down Houston one more time and by no means should we let this go past tonight. No way we want this series to go seven.

I think the last game was a good confidence builder for the team. I'd like to think they've learned something by now and are ready to close it out tonight.

We can look past tonights game.

The team should definitely not do that though. They need to beat this team and get it over with as quickly as possible if the WCF start sunday. I say end it in 3 qtrs.

Aside from Artest, Battier and Scola the Rockets are a team full of bench/role players getting big minutes. They have absolutely nothing to lose and play with a "I don't care who you are" attitude and they give 110% effort. They are dangerous and have proven so repeatedly in this series.

Yes they were shooting lights out early in this series and that couldn't last and so they had a bad game and got blown out by a much better team who had a good game.

If the Lakers don't give 100% and take Houston seriously and Houston has a decent shooting game, the Lakers could be looking at a game seven which is a very bad idea. We do not EVER want to play a game in this playoffs that has the potential to be our last game of the year. You never know what can happen - injury, refs, off night for both Kobe and Pau. On top of that even if we win game 7 that is one more grueling, banging game on their bodies (especially Odom's) that they'll be taking into the Denver series - not a good idea.

The Lakers must play with the same urgency as game 5 or as Kobe mentioned in post-game interview - MORE INTESITY!!!!

The Lakers have an attitude of superiority at times that keeps them from feeling the need to compete with 100% effort. If they do that tonight..... I'll be very very upset.

I find it funny that this thread appears right next to the one about WCF scheduling.

This is game is huge... a game 7 would take more out of the Lakers and Denver would be waiting in the wings rested...

Not only do the players need to take this game on with a clear sense of "urgency" but just as important Phil needs to be on top of this game and call time outs if the Rockets ever get any kind of momentum at all... Phil also has to be on the top of his game substituting... If Phil looks focused it will rub off on his players... just as much as each player has to be focus on each of their own respective contribution to the game...

Isn't Wunderlich the guy who did the non-call on Fish last year and missed the call on Wright intentional foul this year?

Hope he doesn't decide to 'redeem himself" at the expense of the Lakers.

I said before game 4. Watch out for Brooks. He's had big games before against Portland. Don't take them lightly because Brooks has free reign without Yao.

Game six will be more of the same. Brooks will drive and shoot or kick. The lakers better watch out - The rockets are going to rain 3s on us and hope they fall in. They took 29 each of the last 2 games. I expect more this game. Might as well go out firing. If the Rockets start making long distance shots - we have to answer or it'll be a blow out again.

I see a 120 pt game from both sides. Think of Don nelson, D'antoni offenses.

We have to finish business tonight because anything can happen in a game 7. Team needs to take the crowd out of it early and jump to a big lead first half.

Answer: Suit up Morrison, closeline Brooks. Done. Serious about this. Fisher cannot guard him. Please listen PJ!

Kobe really needs to go inside, foul or no foul, if no one's being active. Time to take 'em out and knock 'em dead!
