Lakers 104
Jazz 97

Everyone gets some healing time while the Portland and Houston series gets more and more physical, exhausting and emotionally draining to both teams.

Utah will put up a fight for the first three quarters or so most likely, but then we pull away.

I was rooting for Houston last night! Mainly cos they suck so bad!!! Really bad!!!! Had there been enough time, portland would have won the game. But yeah i want it to go to a 6 game series cos there is NO way Houston wins in Portland. We need a little rest for our players while Houston and Yao get banged up. Yao is playing lots of mins because there is no more Deke to back him up. Priz Brat and Oden muscle him so much out there, i cannot wait for the Lakers to swarm him like flies!!!! No Tmac, only Artest jacking threes!!! Beautiful!!!

no reason to be a close battle.

We have the momentum. They´ll put a fight for the firsts minutes of the first quarter, then fade away.

Lakers 110, Jazz 96.

see you next season minus Boozer.

I can see the Lakers come out firing and run away with it tonight. The Jazzs look really deflated after Game 4, and Okur is simply not healthy enough to play, he has no explosion at all and is a liability for them.

Has there been any word on whether Luke will play or not? I heard Phil said that Trev would be a game-time decision, but would most likely play. Doesn't matter, that just means that Shannon would get some time at SG and Kobe slide down to the three.

Lets finish these bums off!!

According to Phil on LA Times , ODOM and Kobe will see more playing time at SF... Maybe we do see the 3 BIGS at once...

http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-lakers-jazz28-2009apr28,0,4163269.story

"I think Trevor will be able to go," Jackson said.

Kobe Bryant and Lamar Odom will play more at small forward to account for Walton's minutes, Jackson said.

i dont want to get over confident just because they're on the brink of elimination. i see them coming out loose and free. lakers have to match their pace and hopefully play with a sense of urgency and not expect the jazz to simply fold over. if the lakers think its going to be an easy win, they're gonna be in for a very long night.

Has anyone heard any info regarding if Phil will stay with LO in the starting 5 or go back to Drew?
I think that we should finish this series with LO starting, and then probably go back to Drew against Houston.

It all has to do with Okur, if Okur is starting PJ has said LO will start. I don't know if Okur is playing though, he didn't look to good out there in the last game.

I'm thinking Drew comes off the bench again and starts next series to match up against Yao. I also think we will get a four or five minute glimpse of the Four Horsemen in the third quarter or so.
