Playing the Mavs is always fun! They are probably the Lakers first round playoff opponent so we can see some future match-ups. I would assume Lamar is gonna guard Dirk. Erick Dampier is an overpaid oaf but he always seems to do well against the Lakers. We have to REBOUND, REBOUND, REBOUND!

These guys always seem to give us a really close game but we have prevailed in the past five. It should be a good game, but I'm hoping for a blowout, not another nerve-wracking game.

Seriously. No more spotting the Mavs a 10-12 point lead by the half.

Blow these (bleep) out and light up the W column with #53.

Kobe always brings his A game against the Mavs. Lets hope it continues tomorrow.
Btw, I don't want to see Barea tearing up our perimeter D.

dampier always looks like dennis rodman out there when he faces us. one time last year at staples, he had like 18 boards. the dude is a (bleep) bum, get a (bleep) body on him

i say we win after blowing a big lead at halftime

lakers 103

The line is at 9.5. Anyone who would bet on the Lakers at -9.5? I'm trying to make up my mind.

I might not take the Lakers at 9.5 if they were playing SC.

just rebound against the mavs, they are purely a jump shooting team so limiting them to one shot will win the game. let dirk get his, shut everyone else down, especially terry

at 9.5, i wouldn't mind the chances on a double digit win at home. but you could find better.

josh howard has been out from a sprained ankle. if need be, kobe could score 60 if he wanted today.

im sitting in church , i came to early service so i can watch the lakers lay the smackdown...a laker blowout would be awesome on national tv also for the mental edge for our likely first round opponent. cant wait to see that losing look on cubans face

This is the first game this season I'll be attending as I live out of town. So I'm hoping you're right on both counts.

Oh and btw, take the Clips on the money line tonight, they're winning straight up. Thank me later

We'll get a chance to see Ariza with the starters again and Walton with the second unit.

Let's see how many turnovers we can force on Dallas' starting unit, and how well we limit them to one shot per possession.

My prediction; Dallas gets scorching hot from way outside early on, we go into the half slightly behind, but the outside shooting cools off in the second half. We clamp down and limit Dallas to 16 pts in the fourth quarter and win by about 9.

Lakers 106
Dallas 97
