47% shooting for Kobe for the night off what, about 40 shots? HOW DO YOU PEOPLE JUSTIFY THAT?

The Caps is overboard bro.

Did you actually watch this game or just the box scores? Without Kobe's offensive explosion in that 3rd quarter, where he took a majority of his shots, the Lakers would have been down 20 easy. Did you see the 2nd unit squander away that lead? Fisher and Farmar were totally inept today, and Shaq dominated us inside. Would I have liked to see Pau more involved, yes...but to blame Kobe for this loss is not realistic imo. The bench failed two games in a row.

They prolly will. It's their 3rd game in 4 days, on the road, and the Hawks are a pretty good home team. And they're rested. Go Hawks..

Kobe was forcing near the end to get back into it. He was basically shooting 50% all night.

if pau was hitting everything he wouldnt have airballed that easy one

So 67% shooting isn't acceptable? Better chance of coming back with high percentage shots.

we are down 5, are you serious?

And they were still down by 5, instead of maybe 2 or 3.

you shoot 2, then we foul, they hit 2...what's that gonna make?

Because minus Pau, his teammates were a dismal 12-38 from the floor.

Not going to pull off any miracles with twos.

just probably mathematically challenged. LOL

No, just understand the game. Obviously, the 3 game hardly ever works. Get Gasol the ball underneath and you have at least 2, maybe 3. Prevent offense never wins.

Well, it sucked, but it's only one game, season series is over we won it, could've swept it but hey can't win them all.

More concerning than the loss is how bad our bench has been lately, Phil needs to do something to try and get these guys back in sync they look lost out there at times.

Back-to-back losses for only the second time this year, but you've gotta move on and focus on the next opponent and not making this 3 in a row.

All that needs to be said.

that thinking is what gave us these last 2 losses. teams arent gonna lay down because we are the lakers and have the best record. 48-12 aint (bleep) with the celtics and cavs on our heels. thank god boston loss earlier

I think Kobe shot too much, too. but he also hit 47% w/c is borderline. I would've gone to Pau more though.

Kobe can jack up 50 shots if he's shooting 50%.

You're basically exchanging points at that time. 2 for 2. You will never cut the deficit unless they pull a massive choker.

Celtics lose, so we didn't lose any ground. And Cavs have to make up some wins in order to tie Lakers. So Lakers still in good shape.
