@ Foye. He cost them the game. Kobe wasn't clutch tonight. He took some lousy shots, missed on right under the basket, and missed the sealing free throw.

the Wolves were playing out there ass though... If they played like that every night they would beat most teams... It's all about the Lakers bringing the best a team can possibly do out of them... That was outrageous. They couldn't miss a trey...

LO Interview:

-Got lucky tonight. They were on fire as a team and played really well. We didn't play well enough to stop them. We've got to play better than that if we're going to be the best team that we can be.

-Offensively we'll always be fine. We've got guys who can make plays, hit shots. Defense comes first.

-The strength of our team is our depth and that anybody can step up at any given time.

Another great game from Kobe.28/7/6/1/1 on over 50% from the floor. Hit some huge baskets and FT's down the stretch as well.

A loss is brewing, you can feel it. They practice snooze bar bball until it leads to a loss which ironically helps them to refocus. 7-1-7-1-7-1...

I don't think Phil realizes that almost every NBA team has three or four people that can make three point shots. I don't think you can depend on them getting tired at the end of games. The arc should be guarded at all times.

Gotta give props to LO. He was huge in this game. Gasol looks gassed and so does Kobe. They haven't had a break since late summer. I really wish we could give them a blowout. Tonight should have been one.

Defense is the main concern but......

This team without Drew just doesn't punch their opponents in the mouth. It is all fancy finesse passing and cutting. We are pretty much the Kings from 6 years ago.

I never understand people who blame the lack of defense on shooters to be the fault of the coach. Do you really think that a coach says, "Down the stretch if the game is close, get really lazy on defense and dare them to make a three." I think our players just thing they can take a play off and underestimate their opponent. Or maybe they think they played the best defense they could and the guy made it anyway. I doubt they are coached to do that.

Average game for Kobe at best. Don't forget he had 6 turnovers and missed a gimme layup in crunch time and a clinching free throw.

there will always be things to knit pick but we get everyone's best game and on the nights when we're not playing our best, the games will be close, like this one. enjoy it folks, we're on a great right. this team has a great chance to finish with the second best record ever for a lakers team, that's saying something because our history is long and filled with great teams

*shrug* i thought he played well. didn't even mention all the doubles he drew. besides, i dont think that 1 missed layup and missed ft makes it a bad performance in clutch time. how bout the fadaway he hit in the clutch?the and-1 layup? 3-4 FT's? lol you guys are expect too much.

not sure where a lot of the bad comes from(other then the turnovers)but we'll just agree to disagree.
