Whatever swagger the Celtics had before this game, it's now gone.

If you leave Kobe to his own means that is what we'll live and die by. If I'm Phil I make sure we go to the Kobe/Gasol two man game every trip down in crunch time in the finals.

I agree.

that LO to gasol interior pass play seems to work too

Let's assume Phil does not want to show the whole set of weapons yet...

The P&R between Kobe and Pau is obviously better than contested shots.

That's what I was going crazy about. Why the hell does he refuse to punch his way in the paint? Thank God it didn't kill us.

But please, please, PLEASE don't make threads about y'all getting raped by the refs for at least 2 weeks or so....because Fisher was clearly fouling the hell out of Allen. Oh my....please at least just admit he was fouling him.

everything goes in the waning moments of a game, celtics employ that very tactic.

After last year's travesty in Game 2, they should just shut the (bleep) up.

End of story.

LMAO!!!! Fish fouling Allen??? Dream on...

Ray Allen tried to take a page out of Sasha's book. Except he forgot that when Sasha tried that, it didn't work.

Is this some form of a joke? If so, then thanks for the laughs.

Please. Your guys got to manhandle us for virtually the whole game, got kept in it on touch fouls so Pierce could parade to the line in the fourth, and you want to cry because paulina threw his arm into Fish before launching a crap shot? Whatever.

Lakers SUCKED it up big time. Good win. Nice block by Gasol. He did what it took to win this game at the end. Kobe shot selection was HORRIBLE in the end but the Lakers prevailed anyway. On to the Cavs. Lakers need to sweep this road trip.

I don't watch games looking for what calls the refs do/do not make, I tend to believe that if you play well enough to deserve a win, the refs GENERALLY do not overturn that for you. I'm not just saying this because Lakers won, I feel the same way in a loss when everyone on LG is whining about the refs.

That being said, when your Celtics get screwed over royally by the refs in a Finals game, THEN we might be even.

This game was a recipe for a Lakers loss and it is amazing we pulled it off.

- FT misses
- Offensive rebounds given up on missed FTs (a bad omen in my book)
- Odom foul trouble
- Kobe with bad offensive night (+bad shot selection)
- Rando free-wheeling through the lane
- Eddie House going off
- On the road
- 2nd night of a back-to-back
- Sans Bynum

Too true, my thoughts exactly

I'm guessing we'll have several threads tomorrow whining about "BSPN" and other media outlets, because I think it's highly unlikely that they realize that fact.

Yeah I mean come on dude are you blind? It doesnt get any more obvious then KG's 6th foul. He pushed Fisher hard and you could clearly see his arm way extended. Kobe got bumped all game and got hit time after time on his jumpers. I wouldnt mind it that much if they called it the same way for Pierce who got to the line on ticky tack fouls while Kobe got no calls on much worse fouls on him. And Pau got hit alot with no calls as well.

And with all that Lakers played very poorly without Bynum and still won at Boston.
