[quote="rpadma12"]The other lakers are dependent on Kobe and Gasol setting them up and running the offense.. not Kobe dribbling the ball at the top with two guys shadowing him and then forcing the action.. that's the problem of Kobe scoring a lot on isolation.. it takes a while for the team to get back into the flow and play with some life.

Lol @ your hopes and calling it wishful thinking. 39-9 not good enough for you? With the greatest player on the planet? And an all-star center/power forward? And one of the deepest teams in the league? I don't think any move Mitch could do would match up to your criteria unless we had an all-star team, including the bench, here in LA. |

3 pt shooting opens up the middle, and JO was blocking everything in the lane. |

I'm not talking about shot attempts or even balanced offense.. It's whether lakers as a team are looking to get the high % play each trip.. I'm talking about the flow and how the offense is run.. Kobe maybe looked to pass about a dozen times tonight despite being shadowed by two guys many times.. the ball stopped in his hand at the three point line and other lakers had no clue what he was going to do... they gave him space, but had bad positioning for rebounds.. and Kobe had a hard time getting separation on many of his shots... He looked good early with catch and shoot opportunities.. other than that the only time the offense had any life was when Kobe and Gasol played off each other a bit in the 4th. |

Ariza made a couple of mistakes early and his timing seemed to be off. I love Trevor, but he seems to be the kind of player that if things are going against him it affects him the rest of the game. I think that's why he had a short leash tonight. |

If this team were 48-0, would he complain we are *only* winning by 30 points a game and not 50? _________________ Courage doesn't always roar.

PJ has always been a guy who matches up to the other line-up rather than forcing the opposing team to match up to us. |

Phil's taking a page out of Pop's book. Rest your players on the back2back, but in this case, Ariza gets to rest on the first one. Maybe Phil will rest Kobe and Pau for the Cavs game, this way we can destory OKC |

Of course the defense is the main problem.. which I've already stated in this thread.. I just don't want the defense even worse because they're not making sound decisions on offense.. not balanced positioning.. not in right position for rebounds.. |

even worst they gave up a 107 points, Parker was looking like a all Star and that due to a lack of focus on defense. |

So why mention Bargnani in the first place?
Luke is so useless out there. |
Leads the team in assists tonight. |

Useless? He's not the greatest, but he only 18 minutes tonight and lead the team in assists. |

When is the last time a team didn't have any steals in a game?
Lakers had only 4 turnovers. |
