He's right about the importance of the game since having lost Bynum was demoralizing enough (not that this isn't a team we shouldn't beat anyway). Bynum wasn't playing as well then, but the game in LA was a lot more competitive. |

He said this in the 1st half, it was broadcasted on the Knicks network. Pretty funny.
To be fair, he also said something like, "If he doesn't come back down, we'll all just go home". So, he acknowledged that there just isn't anything they could do.
Another funny story they told on the Knicks broadcast, was D'Antoni telling them about the time they saw Raja Bell play the best defense they've ever seen on Kobe one night..... Kobe hung 48 on them. |

Kobe is such a slacker. Only 61? Pfft... I've seen him go for 81 before. He's slowing down. |

If Kobe becomes a Knick you're gonna see calls for him that would make even Michael Jordan blush. |

Gasol had 31/14 and it's an afterthought. How about that for a 2nd option. |

I just noticed Gasol scored 31-14-5. Totally got dwarfed by Kobe's 61 but those are sick numbers. |

the only thing that matters about kobe's 61 is that now LAKER owns the scoring record in MSG. besides the win of course.

I can't believe the Knicks gave up so early. They were only down by 14-16 points with over four minutes to go, but you could clearly see they stopped competing. _________________ "Suck it up. Don't be a baby. Do your job." - Kobe Bryant |

I'm so spoiled. Kobe goes off for 61 and I'm not even that impressed. That shows Kobe has really done some amazing things. |
