Hell, even JVG over on ESPN said it was NOT a travel and "not a good NBA call late in the game". And Mark Jackson said Ariza should have been going to the line.
Good game we had heart and fought back, honestly with the game yesterday, I didn't think we would win this one, but couple mental mistakes and some iffy calls from the refs sealed it, but lets no dwell on this and get the next two, those are both big games, that we need to take care off. _________________ 11/9/12 the day the brown was flushed down!!!!!!

BS!!
Ariza should have either shot it or passed it around. Ariza makes some stupid ass plays on offense
You just made my point. Ariza is not a playmaker...i just thought kobe should've taken the shot, given that he was hot. _________________ KobeDunk wrote:

Either something happens or something doesn't? Damn. Bold claim.
Ariza could have easily passed the ball back. Or passed it to someone else. _________________ A banana is killed every time a terrible thread or post is made. Save the bananas. Stop creating terrible posts!

I can't even smile now, Kobe played so big in that 4th quarter, made the right passes, played unselfishly, took the big shots, made the big shots, told the team were winning this game, and in the end gets nothing but a L.
You've got to feel for KOBE!!!!! _________________ "It doesn't matter how hard you try because you can always try as hard as you want, but its how smart you play"-Phil Jackson advice to Kobe

I bet Spurs fans are laughing right now.
Kobe: Yay! Yay! Yay! Take that again Timothy and company!
Popovich: Okay, Roger, here's what I want you to do... *Starts talking*
Mason: *Thinking* I wonder if I should get SubWay or Quiznos later tonight...
Popovich: OK, go!
*Mason gets ball*
Roger: What did he tell me to do... I forgot! Something about SubWay or Quiznos?
*Image of a Japanese Karate master pops into his head pops into his mind*
Hallucination: The swing your feet into somebody else is a very effective method in sparring.
Mason: I don't know why Coach changed appearances, and he mixed up the words Karate and BasketBall, but I always listen to my coach!
Mason: *Kicks down Fisher and scores*
*Whistle*
Mason: Thanks, coach!
Ariza WAS fouled which should have been free throws where he would have atleast tied and likely wont the game for us
but that said, Phil's specific situation lineups SUCK!
I'm the biggest Ariza fan but you dont put him in when we're down with 12 seconds left. Put in Rad who can help spot up Kobe
I don't see how the Lakers did not play well. SA is a top contending team. The Lakers shot the ball well. The spurs shot well. Just 2 good teams duking it out. The only difference was a crucial foul call on a stunted Fisher.... Well, that and all the extra free-throw attempts the Spurs got but don't give to the Lakers. I guess the real difference is Fisher's brainfart and the refs' "officiating."
