Kobe had a couple stitches after the game last night. He got a hand across the face by Wade I believe...and didn't get a foul called as per NBA REF HANDBOOK ON HOW TO CALL FOULS WHEN DEALING WITH KOBE.

He should be fine. He usually plays better when he is hurting. I see him scoring a 33 points, 8 rebounds, 12 assists, 5 steals and 2 blocks (one of them on Yao).

The Lakers are going to win this game. It will be close for 3 quarters but in the 4th, the Lakers will take over and it will be over at the 7 minute mark.

Oh and Odom plays limited minutes tonight. Josh Powell gets the nod and scores 16 points tonight.

This Laker Organization has not yet hit bottom. It is moving there quickly, and I suspect this year we will see zero talent coming to the Lakers and we will trade away Kuz and BI for old vets in the hopes of giving LeBronze some scapegoats.

we should dominate, but this team loves playing down to competition, so either we'll lose or win a close one after blowing a big lead

John Ireland walked up to Lamar live while on the phone with Denholm and Long 30 seconds ago. Lamar says he's playing tonight!

That gives them a total of, what, 5 healthy players? Thank goodness... now the Lakers have enough to field a squad. Phew. Thought they'd be the NBA's first-ever forfeit.

actually if anyone would have got a foul on the play it would have been kobe.. wade was driving to the basket and kobe swiped at the ball and there heads collided which caused the 4 stitches for kobe and the ice bag for wade.. it was a good no call though.. it was just a great 1on1 battle that fetched a couple battle wounds...
