Once healthy, Lakers need to do everything they can go get rid of this idiot.

Kobe comes through again.

Actually that as Sasha's man. What if Murphy missed that 3 was Sasha going to go up and rebound against a taller man? But Vlad was dumb to switch at that time he should have stayed with Murphy.

phil wanted to match up better to prevent the 3s. too bad rad is too (bleep) dumb to stay on his man.

bynum was good on offense tonight, but the defense when he and pau were on the floor together was awful, and he was horrible on the boards. i can remember freaking short ass jarret jack running around bynum 3 times for offensive boards. just no effort to box out anyone or go after the ball.

I'm not happy with the way they played but I'll take the W. Foster made my night!

I'm hoping that the reason why they didn't play defense tonight is their upcoming schedule in the next five games.

Don't get to high on Powell only because once Odom returns phil is going to bury him at the end of the bench.

How about Phil putting in Vlad for Bynum in between FT for "defensive purpose", then Vlad runs away from his man and leave him wide open for the 3, that was classic.

The play was Vlad's fault. If Sasha gives up a layup so what. You give up the 2 pts before you give up a wide open 3. Dumb play by Vlad.

Josh Powell interview:

-Last loss was on our mind and we wanted to get a win.

-(RE: Foster) Looks like he just froze... (didn't hear the rest..)

-Teammates did a great job of hitting him when he was open.

-Staying positive and keeping a good head. Working hard to make sure he's ready when called upon.

-BIG SMILE when he was congratulated about his new baby girl (I'm assuming she's doing better?)

Total BS.

We gave up a 3pt shot to let them tie the damn game. Bynum wasn't in there when that happened. We also gave up 7 points during that time Bynum was out in the 4th. The guards are the problem with the 3's. Not the bigs. We also only had 3 rebounds during that stretch and the Pacers had 8.

Phil takes Bynum out in the 4th for offensive reasons. With Bynum and Pau in the game it closes the lanes for Kobe to drive. With Josh Powell in there (he's a shooter) the floor opens up for Kobe to close the game.

Bynum interview:

-They out-hustled us in the 4th... we can't let them do that.

-(Regarding poor defense) Our defense was getting back-cut...

-Took advantage of the opportunites he had offensively. Lots of assists from Kobe.

-(Regarding game-winning shot) Kobe took advantage of the small defender and made the shot.

like i said, too bad rad was too (bleep) dumb to stay on his man.

no reason to take out bynum for offensive purposes, we were KILLING the pacers offensively with bynum and pau in the game. we needed to cut down on the wide open shots they were getting in the first half.

Couldn't believe all those backdoors Indy was getting. That and a lot of Rad in no-man's land leaving open 3 shooters.

We *escaped* tonight.

8 for 10 shooting + he was agressive! i love it, let's hear it for Bynum! We need him playing tough every night. I found a cool pic of Bynum about how we need to believe in him.

So true. Its just too bad Powell wouldn't get minutes, and Borat and Walton (when he comes back) will.
