It's not like Roy is a Kobe stopper. It makes no difference on the offensive end for Kobe. If anything, Outlaw can play better D on Kobe than Roy can.

Yeah, I was just wondering since when Roy is doing a good job on Kobe. He has always gotten burned since he came to the league.

36/7.6/4.8 on 49% shooting. Well, I guess you can call that stopping Kobe.

Record is 2 (Wins) and 3 (Losses). However.

we arent talking about wins/losses

talkin about kobe's performance, dont confuse the 2

The match up is underwhelming at best.

But I give Oden an edge (albeit a slight one) because he seems to know who he is and appears comfortable in his role. Drew is still in a bit of a fog on that front.

No offense, but this is typical Laker fan spinning. Oden does not look comfortable for the most part AT ALL. In fact, many have been commenting about how DEPRESSED he has been because he doesn't know what's going on with his own game right now, and it has him feeling down. Beyond that, even with Bynum in a "fog", he's still played better basketball on the season than Oden has, though both players have been disappointments.

Sometimes it's good to have a perspective like this,. you got me thinking how it would be a good idea for both players to play pickup games against one another like Farmar does all summer long. There's no reason why they can't be friends and work on their games together.

Blazers are good at targeting our weaknesses. I'm expecting a typical hard fought game with them like always.

the key I believe is getting our rebounds and not giving them 2nd chance points.. look for Oden to get a lot of Offensive boards..

We've got to box out if we want to win tonight..
We also have to limit blake.. unbelievable.. this guy was like destined to play against us... he's always on fire against the Lakers..
Pau and Lamarcus is a good match up.. both are good outside shooters.. both can finish inside.. Pau is better all around imo.. and with more experience..
Outlaw seems to play well against us also..

but...

As long as Kobe doesn't shoot 6-20.. we will win.. because of the Roy factor..

Ariza will get a workout tonight! Odom as well. Here's hoping Bynum has a bit more energy out there.

I fear Aldridge/Outlaw and any Blazer getting hot from outside. They seem to have about 14 players that can do that.

I'm a lot more comfortable knowing this game is at Staples, though.

Lakers 106
Blazers 102

No tacos, but sole possession of HCA once again at the 32 game mark.
