Not really. Kobe played well defensively. Not much anybody can do against Wade especially when he's getting consistent screens and hitting his jump-shot. Your agenda of discrediting Kobe and propping up Bynum is becoming more and more obvious. What a joke  |

| Didn't see the game. AP story said Farmar got injured with five minutes to go but didn't explain further. Was it anything serious? |

| lol, if allowing a guy to score 7 points above his average is playing him well defensively, then I guess Bynum's D is really shut down. Yes, Kobe's job is tougher because of the touch rules and the fact that guards are more versatile offensively. But that's the nature of the game, guards are in the NBA because of their ability to create shots. Bigs are in because, well, if you're big enough and have enough skills, then you're in. So you could say that Bynum fulfills the requirements for man defense for his position, whereas Kobe doesn't, relatively speaking. |

Haha did JUST MING get any static from people about his "negativity" when he made those predictions?
I wonder if there are people who read that and superstitiously actually believed he played a part in causing this loss... |

You don't get it. There's nothing Kobe could have done against a top 3 player in the league whose consistently getting screens and is hitting his jump-shot. Bynum has it a lot easier then Kobe.

Nothing you can do? lol. Maybe if Kobe had consistently put a tight hand in his face, or able to force him to a wide angle instead of letting him go straight, he wouldn't look so good. Looking at Wade's numbers in the previous 3 games, those teams sure didn't have a problem containing him.
And Kobe's OPP PER is lower because his competition has been extremely weak. Wade is the only marquee player he's guarded directly so far, and we see the result.
Bosh, on the other hand, has an EFF only two points lower than Wade's(it was higher than Wade at the time, and he was also playing better in the previous 5 games than Wade does now.) Bynum has also guarded Yao, Brand, Kaman, whose EFF are all higher than the next best guys Kobe's guarded, guys like Vince and Redd, and the scrubs he's guarded all have a higher relative EFF than Kobe's. |

| BTW, what you're looking at is the OPP Production, not PER. Bynum's OPP PER is 11.9, Kobe's at SG is 14.3(you don't even wanna know how he does at SF), so really, it's not even close. |

1. Kobe has guarded Wade/Roy/Gordan/Artest/Vince Carter/Kidd/Iguodala/Redd/ That's hardly weak competition
2. Only star players Bynum has done a good job on are Bosh and Ming. he wasn't on Brand that wa Gasol. He has the luxury of playing in an era with very few good centers. |
