Some of the guys on the team have been talking about how they're starting slow. Let's see if they change that today and come out of the gates strong

O'neal looks like his in

"We'll see how it goes (today at shootaround)," O'Neal said. "I expected to play (Friday) night but didn't play so I don't want to lead people on. I think it's a huge positive I was able to practice today so I would definitely say the chances of me playing are far greater than not."

Yeah, we match up well with Toronto....Pau vs Bosh should be fun to watch. Bosh is something special. O'Neal and Bynum...both injury plagued but both have game. My concern is Calderon and Fish and Farmar guarding him....and hopefully somebody will at least act like they care to guard Kapono. That being said, we should be 14-1 before the night is over.

He's playing. No doubt about it. Drew owned him pretty good in the preseason. No way he sits out.

Bosh has been playing out of his mind. We'll see if Gasol can stop him. Calderon and Bosh hopefully don't BOTH go off.

Also, if Barenagi is playing SF, perhaps Vlad will be guarding Bosh instead just to save fouls and match foot speed letting Gasol be the help defender. We'll see...

Bosh will get his points no matter what. Just cannot let their three point shooters go off and we should be fine. Trevor will come in handy against Calderon and Kobe will have a field day against Anthony "Hi my sister's name is Candace" Parker. Challenge Bosh on each shot, be physical against any guards in the paint, and close out on their shooters with speed.

I think at the end of the day our offensive firepower will be too great for them to overcome. Hopefully our defense locks down, too.

But Kobe's a riverboat gambler

But won't Kobe be guarding Parker? Vlad on Kapono? Am I gravely mistaken here?

This should be an easy win as they have absolutely no depth on that team. The key will be pressuring Calderon and preventing him from going off. Bosh has to navigate between Bynum and Pau so that should be enough to make Bosh earn his.

Yeah, Kobe should be guarding Parker. But I think Kapono comes off the bench, so Vlad will be guarding Bargani.

Kobe torches the raptors for 38 points to become the youngest to score 22,000 career points. Lakers win 112-97.

Still the best record in the league.

Is this the Raptors starting lineup: Calderon/Parker/Bargani/JO/Bosh? Anyone know?

And if JO isn't playing, would it be Calderon/Parker/Kapono/Bargani/Bosh?

I'll be at the game tonight, I'm going to try and get on the pregame show. Look for me in the background I'll be waving towards the camera and wearing a Lakers shirt.

How will we tell you apart from the other 40 or 50 some odd people that do that, in a lakers shirt, every pregame show normally?

Can't watch tonight as I'm still sleep deprived from watching Friday's game but I'll be cheering in my dreams. Hope I wake up to a good looking boxscore.

Go Lakers!
