Count me in for Friday's game which starts 630pm local time @ Gallagher's. It would be great if we could get a good size group to meet and cheer our Lakers. Power in numbers! 80% of teams who win game 1 win the series and the Lakers would and should beat those odds despite dropping game 1. I look forward to a must win game 2 win and be tied 1-1 on Friday. (To be honest I am a little anxious and nervous...but I believe in this team.) It's time to get serious! Show up if you can and wear those team colors!

Well I just posted in the main lounge (it may get bounced back to the LG Neighborhood). I sent info about our Game 3 meet. I just think we should advertise more and get some new blood into the fold. People don't just think about looking in LG Neighborhood as much as the main lounge. This is how I got started by finding an AZ Lakers thread in the main lounge from last year regarding meeting for the playoffs. Though I didn't sign up until recently, I think there are people out there in AZ who would love to join a group of Laker fans in the valley. We may get new people to show up, we may not. We shall see.
I'll have to pass on Friday night. My wife and I are expecting our 4th child any day now (her due date is 5/15). Don't think it would be a good idea to leave my wife for the evening just in case. Hope you all have a good time. Go Lakers!

Long time no post. I hope to have people over shortly after I finish my entertainment center. I will be missing tonight's game but I will meet up the next time, I will plan on it.

Thanks. I usually tivo the games and watch them after my kids are asleep. However, if a game is on early enough, I watch with my kids. They all recognize Kobe and the Lakers and cheer whenever the game is on. My son, who just turned 4 in March, yells at the tv when the lakers do something bad. He also was given a kobe jersey and matching shorts recently and wears it whenever he watches a game with me on tv. Gotta start them out young and can't allow them to even think about being a suns fan

Regardless of outcome on Thursday night...this Sunday afternoon it will be Game 7 of Lakers vs. Rockets OR Game 1 of Lakers vs. Nuggets. I believe it will be Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals in my opinion. Are there any interest in having a group meet for the Lakers game Sunday?
