As I thought, Boston pounds us on the boards, we can't win. We can't win when Kobe is jacking up fadeaways over three guys. And you can't win when you can't box out. Lamar and Gasoft need to MAN UP..

Well here we go with4 days of dissection -- It's real simple here:

1) Celtic defense showed
2) Their big 3 showed
3) The game was over in the 3rd qtr
4) Kobe shot didn't go down & he forced late
5) LO disappeared
6) Laker defense sucked in the 2nd half.

Well we lost this game. Hopefully we take game 2. As long as we come back to LA with the split, we're doing ok.

A loss still sucks.

But not as bad as some of the whiny little b#$% posting in this thread.

What a pathetic effort.

The green (bleep) will not be so kind the next game. we had our chance. Gasoft/ Lamar are just too soft plus Kobe not playing smart....this series could be over in a hurry.

This game was winnable even late in the 4th. Just missed a lot of open shots. I expect to hit those as the series goes on. On to Game 2

Let these guys celebrate while they can.. Let them have a taste.. Lakers will be back with a vengeance. This was a good wake up call for the team and for KOBE.

boston exposed every weakness of ours. they just zoned kobe and made him shoot tough fadeaways and dared odom to hit an outside shot. bad loss.

boston defense was better this game than the spurs'. it'll be tough all series if the lakers don't find some holes.

Pretty much impossible to win when the other team spends the entire 2nd half in the bonus.

Lakers now 0-3 with Ed F Rush and 1-2 with Bavetta in the playoffs.

12-1 with anyone but Rush and 11-1 with anyone but Bavetta.

I think the mismatches just favor the green (bleep) way too much. come on, even Cassell vs. Fisher is a mismatch in their favor.
