Monopoly?

Clue?

Risk?

Chutes & Ladders?

Candyland?

Monopoly is too tiring and too long.

My favorite is Trivial Pursuit, though there are some other games that are fun. Risk, when I was younger with a good group of friends was fun, but took too long.

I want the Star Wars trivial pursuit.

I like playing Scrabble... I played strip Scrabble one time. Kind of cool.

Nice thread!
I like, I think it's called, Cranium?

I've played it twice. Not a big board gamer myself but the game was fun.

Clue, Taboo. I like Monopoly, but the special edition ones like the simpsons, or star wars, or disney. I grew up playing reg. monopoly and got bored of it.

I know it's kind of against the spirit of this thread, but I really want to buy the Scene It for 360.

Monopoly. Funny thing is I bought a Monopoly last night and a Connect 4 at Wal-Mart. I used to dominate Connect 4 back when it was popular. The Monopoly I bought though is not nearly as nice as the Deluxe Edition I used to have. There is even an electronic monopoly out there now.

All I need is a few people to play it with. Not too many people want to play Monopoly nowadays

Monopoly is not chess.

Rolling the dice does have a lot to do with Monopoly. I wouldn't consider Monopoly a skill in which you can claim to beat anybody.

Monopoly. Me and my neighborhood homies used to play this like Playstation back in the day! Each time one of us won, we'd change the name fitting OUR name the next time we wanted to play. One of my buddy's name was Ron, so he would say "Let's play some RONopoly and his brother's name was Lee, so he'd say "Let's play some MonopoLEE" . We would play for hours on end and alter the rules to speed up the game. Ah, good times.

My friends really like Settlers of Catan.

I'd have to go with Cranium or Trivial Pursuit.

Trivial Pursuit
Chess
Balderdash

But I had a friend who had Pictionary that would draw it up on the tv. That was a lot of fun at parties, but I can't seem to find it in any store anymore.

Chess. I'm not very good, but I play regularly. Greatest thing about Chess is that it never gets old and every match takes on a life of it's own if you will. I really started to appreciate the game the further I got on the ELO ladder. Currently stuck in the 1600s.

I really don't like Monopoly.

Ironically I have a Lakers Monopoly board game.

My favorite board game is Scrabble followed by Battleship and CLUE.
