well i must admit...now that my blood pressure is nearly back to normal that the refs had nothing to do with the lakers collapse....well at least in the 2nd half...the refs were whistl happy in the 2nd qrt but cheaters never win....

This game was a joke. To blow a 30 point lead is ridiculous. Where was the coaching in all of this?

Happy for the W, but the Hornets have to be stoked the way they dominated the Lakers for 2 1/2 quarters.

Farmar is so overrated it's ridiculous.

Hornets can't be too stoked. How can you even get down by 30 in such an important game. The standings will only show a L. Lakers can still win the Western Conference. Bad loss for the Hornets.

Ugly win, but will take it. We can't have that intensity let down in the playoffs. Especially playing in the WEST.

Pacific Division Champions is pretty nice but NBA CHAMPIONS IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Disgusting win. This is the comment to end all comments in this thread.
Up by 20 and win by 3? This shyte is not gonna fly come playoff time. The Hornets should have been exposed overall (excluding Paul).

No analysis needed or "Peppy" outlooks and no smart ass comeback lines for this. You guys can keep your "New Orleans is for real" crap to yourselves. I am not buying it.

What kills me is the Hornets were out of fouls early and often and we still kept shooting threes. And what is up with Farmar not giving Kobe the ball on that play? Result= turnover.

I think Pargo killed the gamblers with that last 3

Much like Chris Douglas-IChokeFreeThrows-Roberts killed my huge bet on Memphis in the NCAA Title game right at the end.

CDR needed CPR to quote Steve Hartman

Chandler was really the guy that killed us tonight. I can live with Peja going nuts, he does that to everyone......but Chandler just went nuts in the 2nd half.

The reason we were able to stomp on them last time with Bynum was because Chandler was contained the entire game by Bynum. You give the Lakers a healthy Bynum and we crush the bees everytime.

I just remembered the second of a back-2-back. that makes the third quarter so much more understandable. not that that is a good thing thing.

vlad missed so many threes.

and props to kobe and lamar for dominating the boards
