The Latin Snake should be the favorite as he is boxing well and has quickness in a 7 rounder>? He has more presence ...

Peter is the more establish boxer but lost the opening matchup...
so he is beatable...

Latin Snake by decision 8)

OMG THAT WAS SO GOOD ITS NOT EVEN FUNNY!

Looks like most of us were right. Stallone got so annoying on commentary though I wish he wasnt on the show. Im happy for Sergio from broke to rich.

We called it. Both fights were great. Both the guys I was pulling for won. My only disappointment is that Ishe Smith won on the undercard against Anthony Bosante. For some reason, I don't like the guy.

I think it was because Jesse is bigger than Alfonso. Jesse is a natural middleweight. Alfonso should be fighting at 145.

Sergio was a nobody before the show while Manfredo was ranked. In his career, Sergio hadn't shown any power to KO his opponents. Manfredo had the same problem as Ishe in that he couldn't land a good clean power shot other than the one after the bell that Sergio just shook off.

Not a great fight but Sergio deserved to win. Manfredo just ran out of gas. He had a couple opportunities to really put some pressure on Sergio but he didn't take it to him. Props to Sergio and his family.

YAY for Sergio!! I like Manfredo, too, but I've been pulling for Sergio ever since the episode where they went to Vegas before the second round fights. Manfredo looked exhausted by the third round!

gotta love how sly was calling for a rematch before the end of the first round!! I know NBC isn't picking it up again, but I'm still holding out hopes for some of the rumors I've heard that SpikeTV or USA will pick it up.

Alfonso will be a monster in a lighter weight class. He has an iron chin.

Yeah, I found Stallone kind of annoying too. He's an executive producer, though, so he ain't going anywhere. I prefer Sugar Ray Leonard's subtle, dignified approach to hosting/commentating by far.

Stallone's commentary was annoying as hell. "OOOHHHH" after every big punch gets a little old.

Didn't watch the whole season, so I didn't realize how much power Sergio had. His speed was obvious. Ability to fight on the ropes was a big difference maker.

Manfredo's punching power at the end was zilch. He tried to overpower Sergio, but Sergio did lean on him most of the time on the ropes. Sergio actually overpowered Manfredo as a result. I don't blame Manfredo for that approach. Now way he'd stand a chance boxing with Sergio. He'd get picked apart and eventually knocked out.

I'd rather see Alfonso fight Sergio than see a rematch.

Great concept for a reality show.

it was a great fight..gotta have a rematch and make it for 10 or 12 rounds. I want to see them fight until someone gets knocked out.
