I'm no rat Agent Kujan! I used to be a in a barbershop quartet in Skokie, Illinois. The baritone was this guy named Kip Diskin, big fat guy, I mean, like, orca fat. He was so stressed in the morning... LOL

Just watched Into the Wild again. Not my favorite all time, but Penn and Hirsche seriously got robbed by that little golden statue guy...

True, but Hirsche was a revelation, and the movie was nearly perfect in every detail. Such a difficult story to capture without artifice or cliche', yet Penn did it almost effortlessly. I was floored by it the first time, and it gets better each time i see it.

Effing hardcore. You just won the Congressional Medal of...Ugly! (<- nod to Stanley)

I've seen it a couple times in recent years, but the last time I think I had to watch it in parts over the course of 2 days. Easily the most authentic feeling period piece I think. It's a deliberate film, but the story is better than Kubrick was given credit for. Long-winded Victorian literature isn't the easiest of things to condense and put to film. The duel scene is great.

A few months ago I went to a screening at the Egyptian of Barry Lyndon in 75mm. STUNNING. It may be the most aesthetically beautiful movie ever. Each shot feels like a classical painting. If you ever get the chance to see it on the big screen I urge you to take it.
