Let's see if the guys can rebound. This is going to be an early test. Fisher looked great on defense, so let's see how he does on Nash.

Bynum might get more playing time because it's a better matchup for him

Phoenix looked rusty tonight against the Sonics, maybe a back to back this early will be in our favor. Collison had a good game inside against Marion, we need to expoit Ronny and Kwame/Bynum/Mihm in the interior to pull this one out. Of course, we needed to do the same in the playoffs last season, and didn't.

Lakers win and shock the world... 1-1 after game 2. Fisher shadows Nash, Farmar shadows Barbosa, and Phoenix scores 90

Come on, let's get real. Fisher can't keep up with Nash.

yeah he can. it's not about speed. it's about cutting off angles and staying in front of the offensive player.

And Fisher is oh so good at that. There's a reasons why no-one can guard nash.

This is a good time to steal a win in Phoenix. They are on a back-to-back and could be tired on there way back from Seattle. Lakers can win this if they just slow the tempo and keep pounding the ball inside to Turiaf, Brown, and Bynum.

everyone assumes chasing around Steve Nash means stopping him. C'mon, stop being so absolute. No one can stop Nash, but players can make things difficult for him and slow him down a bit. Fisher can do that.

One things for sure the Suns are going to do a lot of pick and whatever, hopefully our bigmen do a good job like they did against Houston in showing.

Do you realize that Nash receives a lot of picks ? Do you realize that Fish is an average to back pick and roll defender? Do you realize that it is almost impossible to guard the pick and roll with the bigs we have and nash's skill srt (he can drive and is a deadly shooter).

Fisher will get burnt.

No, Shaq was a bad pick and roll defender and made Fisher look bad. Go ask a real scout what kind of defender Fisher is.

The suns will be arriving in Phoenix around 2 or 3 a.m., players will be tired with little sleep; hopefully the Lakers are rested and fresh, and take full advantage friday night. Lakers win by 10.

I also hope our guys don't score any points for Phoenix, that still lingers in my mind and makes my blood boil.
