I could blame the refs all night still, but the Lakers shot themselves in the foot with all those missed free throws. Most coming from Kobe himself.
This team can only get better when Odom comes back, right? _________________ Courage doesn't always roar.

Good "D" tonite -- I hope to see this "D"efense continue -- if the losses pile up I fully expext the "D" to disappear & the team grenade. I too don't beleive Bynum is used very effectively --- What happened to the pre-season balanced offense? All we did was execute the watch-Kobe offense tonite -- FTs killed us tonite.

What happened to the pre-season balanced offense?? Easy. This ain't the preseason. This is the real season against real teams against real rosters.
As for Bynum, he's got to keep himself on the floor. He comes into the game and picks up 2 quick fouls. Tough to find himself and his comfort zone after that. Hell, crap ass Brian Cook was beating him to the spots in the post.
Yes, they spent long stretches in watch Kobe mode. That's on them. They gotta keep grinding even if they aren't getting a lot of touches. Ronny (when he was on the floor) did exactly that. He continued to cut and dive to the rim. He continued to play hard. That's what they all have to do. _________________ So glad we gave you your flowers while you were here, Kobe.

^ i thought the same thing.
i thought kobe got fouled at first but after seeing the replay a couple of times. good no call. turiaf shoud have grabbed the board instead of tapping it back _________________ "When (Kobe) gets you on life support, he won't give you mouth to mouth. HE PULLS THE PLUG." -stu
Ok i'll stop with the caps, but man that was some heart from the Lakers, all the doubters of Dfish need to shut the hell up. Make some damn free throws and this game is ours x10.
I have no idea what coby karl was doing on the active list over crit, I have no idea why kwame or mihm gets any time over Bynum but I LIKE this team.
Odom comes back and we are ALOT better than last year IMO...Farmer is way better, Bynum = way better, Turiaf = better, and we got Fish back.
Management needs to come out and just say HELL NO to trading Bryant and I say by the end of this year we are a very good team.
Hey....game winner was the phantom basket for Houston by Walton..DAMNIT!!!!! HAHA
Amazing that that weird idiotic play by bumbling buffoons Kwame and Luke Walton that gave the Rockets a basket really hurt the Lakers in the end.
as soon as i saw that play i was thinking "if we lose this game by 2 points i will be furious"
well my voice is hoarse _________________ “Power resides only where men believe it resides...A shadow on the wall, yet shadows can kill. And ofttimes a very small man can cast a very large shadow.” - GRRM
I liked Kobe's effort, obviously his shots weren't falling but he played hard. But he can't shoot the ball that often if he's not making them, and he can't come down 2 on 1 on fast breaks and not pass. If Kobe plays with the same effort but less selfishly we would be a good team.
