Right.
Also I know there are a couple more Americans in the EPL that I could not remember. Also Kasey Keller, Gregg Berhalter, Steve Cherundolo play in the German Bundusliga and Oguchi Onyewu plays in Belgium. |

$50 million and he doesn't even start.
I'm not going to pretend I know a lot about soccer, but I was listening to sports radio and they were saying (they had a 'so-call' soccer expert on, he did sounded like he knew his stuff) Beck is not even ranked in the top 25 of current soccer players world wide?
Is that true? They were saying it's all about marketing.
His salary is greater then the next TWO top atheletes from any of the 3 major sports in this country... Unreal.... |

This guy might be bigger than Kobe worldwide. His wife is pretty hot too. |
He is way more famous than Kobe is. As for his wife eh I've seen better looking. He is definately the more attractive one in that relationship. |
completely true... but she is considered a fashionista by many. She’s worked with Roberto Cavalli and she’s got her own line as well I believe... and yes i do love me some david so today's a good day... _________________ "this game doesnt build character; it reveals it so be strong in body clear in mind and lofty in your ideals."

Beckham is arguably one of the greatest midfielders in the history of soccer in my opinion. It's too bad how he went out with England. It would have been excellent to see him win the World Cup.
I think signing with the LA Galaxy is both good and bad for him: good in that he has a chance to lead a league to the next level and make a lot of money doing it, but bad in that by signing with a non-European league he's basically giving up his ambition to play for England again as I don't think any top flight national team would choose a player playing in the MLS, at least at this point in time.
I can't wait to see Beckham play in Toronto. |

Donovan was miserable as a teenager living in Germany. That does not make him any less a soccer player in his mid twenties.
By their play on the National team I would rank Landon above all those players who are playing in Europe.
Freddy had a major personality conflict with his coach on DC United. He would play well then get benched. We don't know what kind of player he will eventually be until he gets the playing time he deserves.
He should get that this year in Salt Lake. Then he will probably go to Europe. _________________ Let the PAB hold out 2 years and walk without his Bird rights if he chooses.

I don't know about everyone else here, but Im getting sick and tired of Jim Rome emphasizing the fact that he hates soccer. I don't understand why he still insists on talking about it. He's the one wasting his air time and losing his audience talking about it. I think deep down inside he feels threatened that MAYBE, just MAYBE one day soccer would be half as popular in the US as it is in the rest of the world. _________________ Thank you, Kobe.
