Anyone watch the 3 CA state championship games today? Mighty Oaks Christian got a scare from Cardinal Newman, but won 27-20 in OT. In the 3rd game, Concord De Lasalle is in danger of losing their national title as they are losing to Canyon Country. I have seen Canyon play a couple of times this season, and they can flat out score. It has been a good day of football.

I watched all 3. The OC/CN game was sluggish, comapred to most of the Oaks games this season (the lowest they'd scored is 43 I believe), but they pulled it out in the end. Clausen had the 3 picks in the first half and didn't look as dominant as he had been. Also, Oaks was playing without Marc Tyler.

Orange Lutheran is just flat out good. Aaron Corp had a great game, running and throwing.

I was surprised to see Canyon muscle DLS around like that. I kept waiting for a DLS score mid-way in the 4th, and Canyon just kept shutting them down. Nice to see the Southern California sweep. Also, I was surprised to see the negative reaction in the papers on Sunday morning. It may not have been the best format, but it was fun and it worked.
