Another car-related thread, since there are so many car-people here at LG.
What kind of car(s) do you currently own/drive?

I had a '91 MR2. I want it back, 1993 or later. Don't care for tranny choice either. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

My car: '01 Nissan Sentra with 140k miles, all put on it by me or my wife. (The thing had 9 miles on it when we drove it off the lot.) If I'm honest, I hate the thing. Can't wait to trade it for an Altima SE-R. Not having a payment is too nice, though.
Wife's car: '01 VW Cabrio (Got it a few months back - she has been wanting one forever. Amazing what driving a car she has always wanted will do for a woman's outlook on life, and her overall attitude.)
Family car: '01 Oldsmobile Silhouette. (This was an tradeup from a '98 Ford Windstar, and it was the best car decision we have ever made.) Not all minivans are the same, believe me. Dual sliders and middle-row captain's chairs are a MUST, as well as a power slider on at least one side of the vehicle. Easily removable seats are also an extremely nice feature. I can only imagine what stow-and-go seating is like LOL. Next time we upgrade, we'll go for that. _________________ I got a fever....and the only prescription is more cowbell.
Thanks for the avatar, Hybrid27. |

WOW someone got a hefty tax return in 2001
take my advice becuase im a motorhead.... dont get rid of the sentra for the SER altima.... I would go for the Maxima.... they are nicer, bigger, and just about the same amount of HP... and they have been out for a few years now so all the bugs are worked and reworked.... trust me... The Maxima is the way to go if you want a good reliable family sedan. |

Except my girl is interested in a Ford Mustang GT.
Or one of those classic 60s' muscle cars.
Uhm, I'll find other things to make her happy. _________________ Courage doesn't always roar.
