Kobe has to find that medium between being a scorer and a creator. Some times he concentrates on doing one or the other too much.

Why is it that teams playing like crap in previous games ALWAYS seem to suddenly turn it around against the Lakers?
I just don't get it.

Yep, we were (losing) streak busters last year and it looks like we're fighting hard to keep that identity again this year.

Yeah, we're a bit too generous I think.

kobe isn't a natural passer. his skills and hangtime make it possible to do some pretty impressive looking stuff, but at the end of the day he just doesn't have the ability of a genuine playmaker.

We're getting some good breaks... Nice rebounding. Luke and Andrew are starting to get their shots off, on time.

Kobe not yet able to get those spectacular layups in. We could sure use those, by Kobe.

That was a beauty. Breaking down the defense with the pass. We need more of that and less dribbling.

Kobe is trying too hard to be something he isn't. He isn't steve nash, he's Kobe Bryant. Either he scores or he's useless to us.

Thing is, all of the shots he's been missing are wide open 3's that he should be able to hit.

Kobe needs to just stop with the highlight stuff and make the simple play.

Can't shoot his 28' fadeaway 3-pointer, so he has a need to still "show who's who" by making the fancy pass to make up for what he can't do when healthy.

Simple play, Kobe. Simple play.

I am sorry guys, but LO and Kobe are just making too many turnovers, and I cant figure it out why...

Maybe Kobe is trying too much to work in the system, and LO is just not engaging....

But both of them are playing really bad, and it seems like KObe is not playing smart at all...

I am not trying to negative here, but its clear that KObe is just not the same player.

I disagree. The triangle excels when it has five versatile players on the floor. But he's trying to be too fancy. Just slow down the game and execute the simple pass.

When Kobe first hit the floor, this season, his behind the back was a thing of beauty, on time... I thought Kobe was turning a corner... Now, he's just off.

"Offense is our defense."

Anyone think that LO meant anything else when he said that back in pre-season?
