so you have a wireless router right? If so, just move the router and modem to another phone jack in the room youll be playing in. Since its a wireless router and I assume you guys are using laptops, then it shouldt be a problem for the others to still connect.
Once you've moved the router and modem run a wire from one of the ports(behind the router) and connect it to the xbox.
Thats how Ive got mine setup. |
I'm using a desktop, I dont have a laptop. The downstairs computer is the one that has internet service and the modem and router.... my computer is upstairs and basically steals internet from the downstairs computer..... btw I am not exactly the most computer savvy person in the world....
So someone tell me the best couse of action. I'm assuming the wireless thing that Xbox makes for $100 |
sou you have a wireless card installed on your desktop right?
If so, you can always remove the card from "your" computer and install it on the computer downstairs. That way, youll be able to move the modem/router into your room, and the computer downstairs will still be able to get internet access. |

Anyone else having problems killing people ONLINE with the automatic riffle they give yOU>??? I seem to only kill people with the shotgun or the chainsaw!  |

yup. That and those sticky nades. I dont like the long sniper reload. I think i might have killed maybe 3 people max with the machine gun. All the evasive rolling makes it very difficult. |

i finally figured out that if you are using your shotgun close on somebody, dont use your aim. just go up to them and start shooting without aiming. since ive been doing that, ive been getting a lot more kills.
aiming seems to slow you down and your strafing slows a bit too. maybe some will disagree, but all i know is ever since i stopped aiming with the shotgun ive been getting more kills. not aiming will also allow you to use better defensive measure so as not to get shot. |

what in the hell? i was scared (bleep) with he dropped down. he beasted me once and then i had to quit but man that is crazy...im guessing you just shoot his belly and the grill right? |

Go to the end of the train, let her charge you, then do your best Smush Parker impersonation and jump out of the way at the last second, she will run past you and off the train to her doom. You are almost done, good luck with General RAAM. That dude is a bad ass. |

Damn, you guys are ahead of me. I stopped playing for a while cause i got NBA 2k7.
Right now Im stuck getting out of the Phoenix Estate. I walk out and some freaking timer comes up (which i dont know what it means) and i need to get back to the car that Baird has been working on.
Then there is some massive "thing" that looks like a big hunk of lava rock and then as i look at that a Boomer comes out of NOWWHERE and blows me appart!!!!! Arrrrrrrrrrrgggggg!!!

Sweet I play with my brother on co-op and he always tries to disconnect the train. I end up dying with the berzerker (I wish I had the hammer of dawn!)

Just run past those guys to the car do not try and fight them you will run out of time. Hold down A and run like Carmelo past those big fighters and to the Baird car. A cut scene will come up and you are out of there.

TIGHTEST GAME EVER!!!!!
The sweetest part (other than the chainsaw which sometimes screws me over because I get too cocky and do stupid stuff with it like try to chainsaw boomer and the exploding wretches) is the co-op story mode. It's so fun to play with your friends because you can be like, cover me I gotta reload. And the best part is the co-op and normal mode are connected, unlike Halo. So if you make it past Act 1 alone, but you're having some trouble with the next level, you can grab a friend and pick up where you left off.
I give this game a 10/10. Currently halfway through Hardcore after getting it on Saturday night. I beat Casual within 24 hrs, and then started hardcore on Monday, and got halfway through. I've decided to take a break to show that I am not addicted to it.

Inlcuded are also some of the following patches:
• Fixed aspect ratio distortion when using VGA cable with 4:3 displays at resolutions higher than 640×480
• Fixed voice issue with new players joining Player Match games in progress
• Players can now get the Achievement for “Dish Best Served Cold” when using Troika turret to kill RAAM
• Fixed rare situation where host could loop countdown and never start match
• Fixed rare situation where players could get stuck after chainsawing in multiplayer
• Reduced Grenade Tag melee distance
• Enabled “Strict” NAT check on host to prevent possible connection issues
• Optimized server browser queries to return results more quickly and prevent scroll bars from hiding quality of service icons
• Reduced number of possible revives in Execution to match Warzone
• Removed host name from Ranked match server browser

| Does anyone buy Xbox without the intention of playing online? I would think that LIVE is the number 1 reason for getting that particular unit. Personally, I jump right in to LIVE . I might play a few stages on each game, but LIVE is what i look for. |

I actually don't like playing online very much. I'm much more into single player. It may just be the games I grew up with, but gaming is very much not a social experience for me unless there are other people in the room.
I have an Xbox Live Gold account, but I use it more rarely than I should.
