West has a particular affinity for the "Touch The Sky" video. In an interview with The Associated Press in August, he expressed his displeasure that the clip, an elaborate Evel Knievel spoof, didn't get nominated for an MTV Video Music Award.
"It didn't get any nominations, but it's one of the most memorable videos of the year for me," he told AP. |
I like Kanye's music, but he needs to shut up. His arrogance is reaching epic proportions. Just because you think your own video is awesome doesn't mean it deserves to win. And having Pamela Anderson in the video certainly doesn't make the your video cool either. I wish security woulda grabbed him and thrown him off the stage when he bum rushed it. |

This has got to be an act, right? Nobody is this stupid. If I knew that all of these ridiculous things he says were carefully thought out prior to saying them, to get people talking about him, then I give him credit for creativity. How very Andy Kaufman of him.
Something tells me this was just a case of drunken stupidity though. Similar to ODB or Nathanial Hornblower. At least those guys were funny.
Kanye jumping on stage is about as funny as the Soy Bomb. |

His music is great, but yeah he is a class A dick who I don't like. I'm not gonna deny his talent, but he needs to wise up get some therapy or something. |

| I didn't realize this all happened while the group that actually won the award was still on stage. That couldn't be more insulting to them. And doesn't Kanye "lose credibility" when he says he hasn't even seen their video? What a classless (bleep). |

| I don't think it's news that Kunta Kinte West has no class. I don't know why anyone pays attention to this guy, or any other untalented musician with a talent for nothing but drawing attention to themselves. Kunta Kinte West and Kevin Federline both suck and are good for nothing but getting punked at a WWE event. |

While i'm no where near kanye's biggest fan it'd be an insult to mention pretty much every 'musician' in the same sentence as Kevin Federline. He's on another level of skum
