I was scanning for some items on ebay and came up with this guy selling a set of bobblehead dolls that he got from Carl's Jr a few years ago. A pretty funny read.

EBAY LISTING

Quote:
OH YEAHHHH!!!! Here it is!
The one set you've been looking for.
No, there is no Shaquille.
Sorry, Kobe is too busy in Colorado!
Nope, this is the set that has "Sleepin' With" D. Fish(es),
Rick "I'm Bangin' Miss Penthouse America What's-Her-You-Know-What" Fox,
and Devean "My Name Sounds Like A Cheap Aftershave" George.

BUT WAIT! That's not all!

Also included in this amazingly life-like set
(The ratio of inflated head size to body is about right with these egomaniacs),
are two purportedly future Hall-of-Famers!
Yes, that's right. No, not fat Shaq or posin' Kobe.
Nope, this amazing set includes Gary "The Glove (Don't Fit) Payton
and Karl "The Mailman Brings Me My Retirement Checks" Malone!
Woohoo! How can you go wrong?

What would you pay for this limited edition bobblehead set?
Don't answer that just yet!

For if you bid now, you'll receive a fabulous display stand,
custom made to accomodate these five bobbleheads!
What does it look like? I HAVE NO IDEA!
That's because I refused to peek into the box
for fear of depreciating the value of what is sure to become the next Hope Diamond!
Yep, I "hope" I can afford a real "Diamond" for my blushing, yet slightly weathered, bride of 18 years!
OMG! 18 frickin' years?! HELP! Somebody shoot me!

Included in the box with the display stand is reported to be the Gary Payton love doll.
Again, I do not know in what condition it is. But, I'll make you a deal.
If you win this auction, and you give me the go ahead, I'll crack the seal and check to ensure it is indeed Baldy
and not an ultra-rare Kurt "Geekatron" Rambis bobblehead.
If it is Gary the Glove Doll in there, you bought it, regardless of condition.
If it's the Kurt Rambis stud doll, well, then I'm keeping Kurty Baby for my nefarious underworld escapades,
involving a webcam and goats.
I will of course send you another doll of equal or greater or lesser geek value. Nyah!

So, what do you say? This is a fabulous set that I bought in it's entirety from a very high-end sports memoribila boutique. I'll even include the glitzy bag it came with.
It's light brown with period wrinkles and a yellow smiling star on it.
Le Cahl's Junoh or something like that it was called.

SMALL BORING MEAN TYPE: Please understand that this item is sold as-is. No returns accepted, no warranty, no guarantee, no nothin. What you see is what you get. I only accept PayPal or US Postal Money Orders. Please do not ask or beg me to accept cashier's checks, non-US Postal Money Orders or really lame BidPay/Western Union. I've been burned before. Never, never, ever again. Blech.

Thank you for looking at my listing. And if you bid, a BIG thank you!

RANT: I absolutely will not wish you good luck in bidding on my item. I find that lame when sellers say "Good Luck" to bidders. I will wish you a good day. I will wish you glad tidings. I will thank you profusely for bidding on my item. But, I would never dare be so asinine as to wish you luck in bidding on my item. That's a huge pet peeve of mine. Sorry. I just see that and don't know where else to rant about it. There, I feel much better, now. I apologize to you if you feel compelled to wish people good luck in bidding on your items. Though, it is extremely lame, I will take it all back if you bid on my item! I am kinda spineless like that. Thank you for smiling! You are smiling WITH me, right?
