Post your favorite music here.

Just post the artist and title of the song (or upload it in mp3 if you want), I just want to learn what kind of music Laker fans like to listen to.

I personally don't have a favorite artist or a song and if I list all of them this page would be filled. But generally I like rock more than rap although I don't like hardcore rock or punk.

Anyways post away my Laker friends!

My favorite Rap group right now is Clipse (peep the sig). My favorite rapper of all time is Jay-Z. I like a little rock. I like Radiohead and Nirvana. I have the John Legend and Pharrell CDs on heavy rotation right now. I really like anything, but hip-hop in main stream right now is garbage. The Game and G-Unit are garbage. So is most of the south. I listen to mostly underground stuff. Anyways here's the new Jigga song...

Produced by Dr. Dre...

Since everyone is already familiar with today's music, I will go back like 10 years

I will not write down the title, but once you download it will be pretty obvious what this is. Going old school on this one.

Three albums I've just started listening to:

Lupe Fiasco: Food & Liquor
Modest Mouse: Lonsome Crowded West
Muse: Black Holes & Revelations

So far, Lupe is aight but not great, Muse has one or two songs that I'm finding decent, but Lonsome Crowded West is outstanding. It's an older album from Modest Mouse, but as a guy who wasn't a big fan before, this changed my whole outlook on them as a band.

My Chemical Romance - Welcome to the Black Parade. VERY DARK. VERY MORBID. Great album.

Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Basically the same basic formula when it comes to rock that I always end up liking.

you know i hated my chemical romance's earlier stuff but their new stuff is really fun. very rock opera-ish. the guitars sound a lot like queen. WTTBP has been in my rotation a lot.

the new john legend has been a little disappointing so far...although i haven't finished the whole thing yet. the new shins album is decent.

beck's new album is great. you guys should also check out an album by the fratellis called 'costello music'. great find.

I'm just happy it breaks out of typical modern-rock norm. 90% of everything out there sounds like Nirvana or uptempo Nirvana. WTTBP I hear the 70s and later. There's even a sprinkle of country beat mixed well. I like "Dead" the most right now.

^^yeah it's definitely 70s influenced. they have cited queen's 'a night at the opera' and david bowie as influences for the album.

they changed their sound a lot for this album..imo for the better.
