Already did (at least on the iMac). I didn't have issues before... and so far, no issues (knock on wood). |

Well... I finally took the plunge and tried 7.0.1.
After my headaches with 7.0, I was hesitant to ever update again. However, 2 things made it a given, that I would need to update; some of my podcasts wouldn't update without my iPod having the newest software (and my iPod wouldn't update without 7.0.1) and I really wanted that gapless playback.
Went through the iTunes forums again, making sure I was armed with all the info, to avoid my previous headaches... and then crossed my fingers.
Things went a lot more smoothly this time and so far, iTunes and the updated iPod software (1.2) are working fine. Gapless is everything I hoped it would be.
FINALLY... Pink Floyd - The Wall, as it was meant to be.
Note: I still think it was pretty crappy business of Apple to release a completely buggy version of their software. |
