UFC>Pride, not even close. They both have their superstars, but the average UFC fighter will pants the average Pride fighter IMHO.

Funny that you said that, even UFC fighters themselves know where Pride stands.

Pride fighters were at the Fox Sports Grill in Irvine a month or so ago and was signing autographs and talking to fans. One question came up about a UFC vs. Pride thing, and they said they did want to fight UFC's champs, but UFC declined the challenge. UFC knows if that ever happens and Pride just kills them, they'll lose credibility and viewers/fans.

I agree.

If the UFC champ loses. Emphasize IF. Theres always a risk and theyre keeping their priorities straight. It would put up on a good show but it's always a risk.

No offense guys, but UFC is like watching minor league baseball.

PRIDE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I dont know dude, the only way to tell is to have a Pride vs. Ufc tourney....Lidell,Hughes, Franklin is a pretty tuff squad.

PRIDE has as tough of a squad, at least. It'll happen eventually...or at least enough crossovers to get a good idea which stands tougher. Even though Silva got beat by Crocop, Wanderlei could compete with any man in UFC

Crocop is a bigger guy than Silva. It was an open weight tournament. No shame in Silva for losing like that.

Chuck has KO power. He can also sprawl so he's tough to take down.

I think Hughes, Chuck, Franklin, and Diego Sanchez would all do well in Pride.
