Who is gonna win between Hughes and Bj Penn, my money is on Hughes. Hughes is not that same fighter that BJ submitted before....He has evolved in the Jiu Jitsu area, and is still the strogest dude in the UFC( pound for pound). Hughes by TKO in the 3rd. |

I like Liddell, however Crocop would send him to the morgue. |

I second that...although, I don't count Penn out. He's a stalky quick fighter. His soft looks are often deceptive _________________ Free advertising in Jefe's signature. Inquire within. |

A Liddell and Ortiz fight would be pointless, Ortiz would just get his a$$ handed to him again. Only challenges for Liddell now would be Pride fighters, but I heard the UFC head guy doesn't want that to happen.
Wanderlei Silva challenged Chuck Liddell, which seemed like it was about to go down, but for whatever reason it got shot down. Probably because UFC knows that if Liddell loses, their stock would drop dramatically, because Wanderlei is not even Pride's best fighters (but he is one of their stars) and if he beats Chuck Liddell, the face of UFC, it would make them look bad. |

I think they are fighting again though, your wish is not so far fetched.
Tito is fighting Shamrock again, which I also think is pointless.

PRIDE has as tough of a squad, at least. It'll happen eventually...or at least enough crossovers to get a good idea which stands tougher. Even though Silva got beat by Crocop, Wanderlei could compete with any man in UFC _________________ Free advertising in Jefe's signature. Inquire within. |

I dunno... different weight divisions... but there just isn't anybody in UFC who is on the level of Fedor and CroCop. I could argue that Wanderlei Silva could beat anyone in UFC as well. |

I don't think anybody could argue with you about that. Fedor and Crocop happens to be my 2 favorite fighters as well, I can't wait for the upcoming Pride fights in Vegas, all the fair weather MMA fans will see whats up with Pride, UFC is a joke compared to them.

UFC>Pride, not even close. They both have their superstars, but the average UFC fighter will pants the average Pride fighter IMHO. |

Funny that you said that, even UFC fighters themselves know where Pride stands.
Pride fighters were at the Fox Sports Grill in Irvine a month or so ago and was signing autographs and talking to fans. One question came up about a UFC vs. Pride thing, and they said they did want to fight UFC's champs, but UFC declined the challenge. UFC knows if that ever happens and Pride just kills them, they'll lose credibility and viewers/fans. |
