Oh man. That's CLASSIC. Have fun trying to teach an old dog any tricks, Dallas. _________________ Stephon Marbury on Kobe: "He's the only person on 'dis earth that can do 'dat. I felt sorry for him at first and the music changed up and I couldn't stop laughing. That was great. See ya later D. George. Take your three rings and see if you can inspire Dallas. Good luck! |

Laugh all you want but Shaq AND Kobe couldn't win a ring until they brought in the Deveanator.
Too bad he couldn't turn the corner here... I was rooting for him. Hope he finds life outside of the tri. |

Devean could be one of those hard-luck cartoon characters, or comedians... Just when everything seems to be going right, it seems like a "monkey-wrench" is thrown into his game, to upset everything.
Devean always seemed to be playing with that inner fear, that he would do something wrong. How many years was it, before George started taking some initiative?? _________________ "Teamwork is a nebulous thing. It is as ephemeral as love, disappearing at the latest insult.".... Phil Jackson |

^^^Well the problem with Gump has always been his emotional fragility. This guy is more athletic than Rick Fox ever was, and more talented than Luke Walton ever will be. But both those guys have started over him or taken minutes from him. Why?? Because they have it upstairs, and Gump doesn't. With Gump, the lights are on, but no one's ever home. _________________ So glad we gave you your flowers while you were here, Kobe. |

Are you sure he even had a light on? |

goodbye Gump, there was nothing wrong with you except that you were drastically overpaid in your latest contract with the lakers, and that you never worked on your game, and that you still can't dribble the ball to save your life, and . . .
oh why kick someone on the way out. Good luck Devean. You do hustle on defense, and no team that you are on has to worry about any scandal or problem off the court. I hope that you find a place with another team, in a city that suits you, and have a productive and enjoyable remainder of your career. In a league that does have some bad apples, you are a good guy and your family must be very proud of you (as they should be). |
