That's pretty cool. Where is that from by the way? It looks like it's from somewhere in the middle East.

Took the words right out of my mouth.

I'm definitely not of that sub-culture...but to each his own.

The joke is, everyone I know that has done major after-market work to thier imports has spent an excessive amount of time in the shop with car once the aftermarket work is done.

What's the point? If you are spending $70-$100k+ in the end...why not buy an M5 or something?

^^two things. of course i can't tell if that color is pearl white, or some kind of pearlescent white. as it looks on the pick the color aint all that stand outish. 2. just my own personal thing i dont like. I can't stand Non Old school Classic American Cars, that have wheels so big where they're covering the tire. I hate that look on imports.

The cleaness look on an import. is when you have the perfect size wheels/Rims which usually are 18's. sometimes 20's at the largest. on occasion 17's for the smaller cars. Right before it starts scrapping.

now the fact it looks like a Transformer, is kinda nice in its own right. and those that say, "might as well purchase a BMW for that cash". IF he did. he would put another 100,000 into BMW. until you say, "Might as well purchase a Aston Martin". it would never stop.

I remember meeting this guy who tried to insure his late 90's Honda Accord for $20k -- the car is valued at $5k plus $15k for sound system and rims. Naturally, every insurance company that he contacted flat out said no.
