He was already on The P's show. He said he has a 43.5" vertical. _________________ "Scoring the ball is pretty much like breathing to me." - Kobe Bryant |

Farmar: Not a dream to play for Lakers or Clippers. Wants the best situation for him.
Farmar: No promise to be picked up, but a few teams interested.
Farmar: Have to cut down on turnovers, but he's a risktaker.
Farmar: Wouldn't mind being a Laker. |

Farmar is ranked higher than Douby or James White in the mock drafts. Why is this so? Farmar probably won't drop to the Lakers but being ranked higher than Douby or White is interesting and does it indicate some sort of weakness in these players since LG'ers seem to be very down on Farmar who is ranked above them. |

I don't know much about Douby....but it seems like White is an athelete........and that's it. He has major dunks, meaning MAAAJOR...but he isn't a great basketball player at all. He can shoot all right, pass averae, dribble all right, play a bit of defense. I don't think he accels in anything other than dunking. |

Farmar should be gone before the Lakers pick at #26. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. Only love can do that." ~~Martin Luther King Jr.~~ |

Farmar's stock went up when he surprised everyone with his 43" vertical. It will go back down when they realize that's all he's got. We've already got guys who can't shoot, let's find one who can. _________________ Hope for the best. Prepare for the worst. |

i like Jordan but i don't think he'd be a good fit for the triangle (Mike probably knows better than me though, i'd like to hear his thoughts as well). I'd rather see him go to a team that can utilize his talents and see him do well. |

I think Farmer is a smokescreen to get the attention off of James White until we draft White tommorrow. That is why they had Farmer's workout last... |

I agree. I think we either go after White or a shooter. _________________ Kobe Dunks |

I wouldn't be against drafting Farmar. He single handedly kept UCLA in a few of the games in the tournament. He hit a lot of clutch shots and seems to be a pretty smart player overall. I would be surprised if he was still available at #26 though. |

What's with all the hating on Farmar? So what if his shot is a little iffy, who wants a shooting PG anyways? IMO Farmar is the best true PG in this draft. Imagine someone with court vision on this team and they're not named kobe. |

The Blazers might need a center after theirs goes into free agency. Mihm might be the perfect bait. The Lakers may be able to pry Jack away if they somehow fail to sign Marcus Banks.
Mihm, DG and #26
for
Jack, Outlaw and Skinner
The Blazer have Telefair at PG and Dixon as a backup. Przybilla departure would create a hole at center. DG and Mihm are solid citizens to help turn the Blazers image around. #26 could be used to trade up.
The Lakers would have Kwame at starting center. Bynum would have more minutes to backup. Skinner would make a decent veteran backup at PF. Jack would become the Lakers project PG. _________________ "Darkness cannot drive out darkness. Only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate. He was Lakers' last workout and has worked out with the team twice, he may very well be our pick tomorrow. |
Who was that idiot who claimed that Mitch drafted Farmar without the team working him out? _________________ "In essence, the trade was: Shaq, Rick Fox and Gary Payton for Odom, Kwame, Mihm, Profit, 2nd round picks, a 1st round pick and 30 million in luxury tax saviings." - LakerJam
