it is a new ball - it was already used at the camp a few weeks ago. Sadly, it is said to reduce shooting percentages - truth!

I don't detect any sarcasm here but I doubt that's the truth of this mystery box.

It's an eyeball that the refs will share among the three of them during the games. While they brew some Wade Juice.

its a basetball, they haved used it in some camps already, has lesser grip and reduces shooting percentages, suggests players to shoot more mid range jumpers and more drives to the hole- basically stuff that play to the strengths of Dwayne Wade's game...

can't the players union do something about this or the owners, I'm sure Dr. Buss doesn't want guys like Sasha's shooting & to dip below 20%!

I bet the ball throws a trail of flames after a player makes 3 shots in a row.

On a serious note, if there really is a new ball that somehow plays differently, I'm sure Kobe has had one since the first possible moment, and had been working with it from day 1.

This is more proof of an effort for Stern to silence Cuban's perimeter oriented Mavs!

This sounds really screwy. Wouldn't a change like this hurt US college athletes as they transition to the pro game? And what about NBA players that decide to play as on the national/olympic team You'd think using a completely different ball would screw them up.

Wow this is a bunch of garbage. Hopefully, after 1 year of terrible shooting %'s, the NBA will go back to the real ball and not this nonsense...

yea he probably has. so not much a reason to be worried if it will throw off kobe's shot.
