His premature celebrating while forgetting to get the ball across the half-court line reminded me of Doug Christie and Mike Bibby giggling and skipping downcourt when they had a 24-point lead before Horry buried them with a three.
Sam's (alien-sized) head was not in the game enough at that point. |

| Actually It wasn't really an 8 second count the refs screwed up with the shot clock if you look at the time the rebound was got and timeout was called. With that said yeah he could have dribbled faster, but it wasn't 8 seconds. |

It was actually five seconds. Another example of the refs trying to give the game to the Suns.
