Guys, after seeing today's results it seems that it is becoming more possible to see either the Suns and/or the Heat in the finals and may even be the NBA champion.
What scenario do you expect to happen?
I personally hope that the Pistons will pass through the Cavs and beat the Heat in the ECF.
In the West, I hope the Clippers will defeat the Suns but then beaten by Dallas in the WCF.
I just wish so much that the Heat will not get to the finals

The Heat have no shot at the Finals. The Pistons will beat the Cavs pretty easily these next two games, you can bet your life on it. And the Heat will get absolutely dominated by the Pistons spectacular frontline defense on Shaq.

I highly doubt Miami can handle Detroit. The Pistons seem to have that "flip the switch" mentality that we did during our 2K2 title run, but when it comes down to crunch time they will crush Cleveland and take out the Heat. Snaq blew his last chance to get to the Finals last year.

Damn did the Clips choke tonight. Phx is lucky to even be here and even luckier to be ahead right now in this series. Talk about two timely threes. Watching Bell whoop it up after that shot makes me want to

Regardless, theres no chance they beat Dallas this year, not without Amare, and not with the Mavs' improved D. Thats assuming that Dallas finds a way to hammer in the final nail in the Spurs' coffin. Heres hoping.

I hope that you're right. The Heat are clicking and the Pistons are struggling right now.

Look at the Spurs. Who would have thought they would be down 3 to 1. There are no guarantees.

i would be kinda surprised if dallas took the spurs.

due to the fact that all of the beatings we gave these guys over the years, you'd think they would be battle hardened, and win the close ones.

the problem with detroit however is sheed. this idiot keeps shootin 3s. but he is the best low post player theyve got. ive seen this guy eat up defenders in the box with is moves. but he wants to hang around the 3 pt line, and then chokes or opens his mouth.

if sheed gets into his game, he is really tough to stop. but the idiot stops himself too much.

Dallas will not lose 3 straight against the Spurs. They'll defeat the Suns (or Clips) and have a good shot at defeating Miami or Detroit (Miami has not won against Dallas in the Shaq era and they took 1 of 2 from Detroit this year). I'll definitely be pulling for Dallas the rest of the way, though half-heartedly.

The only choking in last night's game was done by Phoenix who blew a 19-point lead in the 3rd quarter.

The Suns just refuse to go down. I have to admit it's impressive the way they battle back game after game two series in a row. This is a tough team. I wish more Laker players had that mental toughness. I can't believe the Suns could go to the WCF without Amare or Kurt Thomas. Truly unreal. It makes it scary to think what they could be with Amare and Kurt though next year though.

Seeing how the Spurs have never come from behind to win a series, I wouldn't be surprised. I thought Dallas would be in the Finals since the end of the season. I would be surprised if the Suns beat the Clips. If they pull that one off, major props to them.

I think Dallas is going to finish San Antonio off tonight, I really do. Like others have said, the Spurs have never come back from 2-1 down with Tim Duncan.

I can't see Phoenix figuring out a way to get by Dallas OR San Antonio.

I can't imagine Detroit losing to the Cavs, and they will punish Fatty and the Heat.

SA is definitely vulnerable.

The Suns are going to wear out. Even if they beat the Clips, I think it goes 7. The Suns are playing 5 starters and basically 2 guys off the bench. A 7 man rotation is too weak and they've been running and running all season. They won't have the gas to last.

I'm feelin' the Pistons pummelling the Cavs the next two games and then going on to beat the Heat. The Heat are hit and miss depending on whether Shaq has had 5 burgers or 10 the night before. Wade seems pretty dinged up too.

Pistons/Dallas - Pistons in 6.

Suns is a play-off team not championship. Heck, we will even get the ring before the Sun.

yup...it looks like the star are finally lining up for the Mavs...about friggin time...i wouldnt mind dirk getting a taste of glory...hes an amazing baller, plus the Mavs have a real good team that has a coach that finally stresses defense first.

PS..Devin Harris in PnG, now thats a thought

I still think Detroit will win it all, but...

How I would love to see Stern hand over the trophy to Cuban. Cuban's gotta have paid at least a million in fines since he took over the Mavs and the irony would be priceless.

Yup.

I'm gonna love the next round watching Snaq and the Suns get eliminated. I will post pictures of their "Gone Fishin'" photoshops that TNT does on the board here so we can all laugh at them

My gut instinct tells me that the HEAT will win it all this year. Only the Pisstons in the east can beat the Heat, and the pisstons are running on very tired legs from 3 consecutive years of many playoff games. In the West, only the Spurs can take the Heat, and the Spurs are running on even more tired legs that the Pisstons. I see Dallas coming out of the west and losing to the Heat in 6 games.

But damm, that pains me to say that about the Heat. The sad part is, the Heat play BETTER when Shaq isn't on the floor most of the time. Which is one reason why I think they go all the way. The are VERY deep and their bench has been kicking butt.
