It's almost guaranteed that he doesn't come back next season. The question is where does he end up?

I'm not sure which team would be willing to take on that K and injury risk. Denver will not get last year's or short K's. They may have to take back a bloated K.

Teams that could use a PF.

East
New York
Atlanta
Boston
Washington

West
Golden State
Seattle
Sacramento
Lakers

East is probably a better bet as that's where power ussually makes more impact (because of the lack of size)

New York is an obvious choice because they are willing to take on big K's. I think maybe a Francis + Rose for Martin + filler deal is possible.

At this point, I would be suprised if the Lakers went after Martin. He is just too much of an injury risk and the Lakers tend to shy away from taking that sort or risk.

Sacramento is potentially a trading partner. They are in the process of changing their soft O-First mentality, and an Artest-Martin defensive combo would be pretty damn initimidating. They may take on that risk - considering that an injured Tim Duncan is beating them up pretty damn good. They need better defense at PF or C. Artest can not compensate for that.

Thoughts where Martin winds up?

Possibly to a team with ending K. They want to re-sign both Carmello and Nene, but the owner doesn't want to pay huge luxury taxes.

Well, you gotta keep in mind that Denver will be looking for a SG in return, cuz theyre pretty much set in all other positions so, I could think of:

NY: For Crawford
Atlanta: For Childress
GS: For Pietrus

NY. Overrated, injured, max-contract. It's almost a joke to say it, but you know Isiah is gonna be interested.

(bleep)! Those were supposed to be my words!

So... I would say NYK as well. Just for the reason listed. But as for AirKobe8's scenario about sending Crawford for him - not happening. Or if it is, Larry Brown is gonna jump of a very high building. Crawford is one of the more promising players they've got. They should stick with him and try (hehe) to get rid of players like Steph, Franchise and both Roses.

I think New York is the most likely team to trade for him at this point. K-Mart is perfect for them...injury prone, underachieving, overpaid, and has a bad attitude. He will fit right in.

No one is going to give up ending contracts for an injured cancer.

I think it is very likely Den and NY exchange headaches.

NY is desperate just to get rid of Marbury or Francis.

Den is desperate to get rid of Martin.

Logical.

Like I said, NY is prone do bring cancers like this.
Rose, Marbury, Hardaway and Francis make over 50M USD per year.
