I've seen it... I mean, I'm a car nut, but each one of those VW crash commercials freak me out.
I've seen enough car accidents about safety on 5th gear as it is. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

Scary. Now everytime I look at a VW I would think of those freaky commercials. |

Disturbing, but most likely effective. Sometimes it takes a little shock to wake people up and let them know what is out there. Especially for parents with young children. |

A bit over the top - I remember being pretty shocked when I saw them. The thing they do to make up for the brutality is to show the people outside the car after the accident with everyone uninjured. That way they ease back a little and show that no one died - not a bad way to market. |

In all the ones I have seen, the drivers are having an animated conversation with the people in their car. The first thing I thought of was that it would be a safety commercial telling you to pay more attention when you are driving. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

^ yep, but unfortunately it won'y make a lick of difference, people will still be talking on the phone, doing their nails, mining for nuggets, daydreaming, etc.. _________________ Forget carbon, reduce your government footprint |

I think it's effecitive. Yes, it's a little too bold, but way too many people drive like ____ , maybe it will make them think. |
