Randle in NY may be a question mark this offseason, would he be a good pairing with AD? You can have him play defacto C and take the beatings against more physical C's and they would pretty much just be able to switch each others matchups? Would it be worth it to trade for Randle?

For trade?

Zubac > Hart > BI > Caruso > Randle > Kuzma > Nance > THT

Randle is barely even big enough to play Power Forward. He’s a SF/PF tweener.. No way he can play Center.

Julius Randle does not want to be here, his agent made that clear when they asked us to rescind the qualifying offer.

I'd take Randle or Ingram back over Hachimura.

Interesting thing is, if Ingram has the same season he had last year his next contract won't be that far from the one Rui currently has. But I'd rather Ingram have a bounce back healthy year.

What was so bad about his season this last year? Still averaged 20.8 ppg.

Yeah he averaged 20 as the 1st/2nd option. But he was hurt a lot of the season, and his Coach/team gave up on him in crucial games and down the stretch of those games. Maybe that's due to whatever beef he and the Coach have, but its the kind of thing that hurts value.

Crazy how many fans and the front office want to live in the past. That’s what’s holding us back.

We won't pretend that those guys didn't become all-stars and MIPs or that they wouldn't be better players than some of the ones we currently have.

If "living in the past" is trying to do things like moving Vincent for Clarkson? Then I'd gladly do so.

The now and future is on display. Clarkson is a bench guy on a team. We need starters. Yes I am a huge Randle guy but if he is their #2 they will struggle to finish the job.

agree, Randle is not only a SF/PF tweener, but he's a blackhole on offense, and is not a consistent three point shooter. on defense, he lacks length to both other PFs and lacks speed to keep up with other SFs. i really don't know who will be in the market for someone like Randle, especially with his asking price tag.

6'9 250 pounds and very strong is "barely" big enough to play power Forward? Julius Randle? The guy that overpowers Draymond is 'barely' big enough to play Power Forward? Do you also think Aaron Gordon is "barely big enough" to play Power Forward?? 25/10 at their position isn't "barely big enough" period.

Gordon plays bigger because he's a more vertical athlete. Randle more low to the ground. They're similar in size but they impact the game in very different ways.

Agree. Randle always seems to have shorter arms too.

speaking of youth. come think of it, it's almost 9 years since the youth movement started for Lakers. it was back in 2015 when the team drafted Randle, then DLO, then Lonzo. three straight top 5 picks in a short period of time was unheard of in Lakerland. before Randle the last lottery pick was Eddie Jones?

I can't stand Randle's game. Why would anyone here want him with his inflated price. He's not that good.
Same with Ingram. Way overrated and always hurt.

He’s Improved a lot, his shot is more reliable now and isn’t like Westbrook, he can help out a lot of teams,

Still a black hole bull in China shop mentality.
