Cam is a:
Poor defender, poor rebounder, poor playmaker, poor 3pt shooter.

Gabe instead of Shro and Prince instead of Brown.

All three Pointless.

I’ll be rooting for him. There’s some potential there. Don’t have high hopes though.

Agreed. Though signing him to a minimum contract is the right context. If he wants to stick in the league, he's going to have to put in the work. And Darvin has plenty of options to go another direction if he doesn't.

Vet min. I'll root for him too, and yeah my expectations are pretty low at this stage.

Christie should easily win that battle.

Yup... But Reddish skills at his size is very intriguing... I think his a taller version of THT.

Same brains? eeek

Utah started getting some consistent play from THT near the end of the season... but with some of the same boneheaded plays

Granted, Cam is still very much a project. Upside is, it's a min deal, so low risk move, at a position where we have depth.

I'm cool with Gabe over Schro. Gabe is a solid defender, an better overall shooter. Prince was another solid signing. Brown was not a realistic expectation, given with the teams vying for his services.

Kinda surprised by this one since he has been awful every time he has played the Lakers.

Isn't Cam more of a combo forward?

I can understand this from the Lakers side but not from Cam's. He's 5th or 6th on the forward depth chart.

I'm leaning towards Max having a far better 3ball% than Cam.
But we shall see.

One of these things is not like the other, one of these dudes were still scrubs. I’ll give you a hint: the answer is not Monk or Schroder.

Any time you can get a pay raise from 1.9 mil in the nba you've improved on your career

At a vet min theres not really much risk in this signing.

As has been stated low risk, high reward move. The kid is only 23 and I don't think he has been given the coaching he needs, some of these teams assumed he went to Duke and was already prepared for the NBA game.

Go Get Him Handy!!!!!

Reminds me of signing Stanley Johnson. These guys are lotto bust trash pickups. Would rather give a spot to an undrafted guy than a guy like this
