Thank you. Perfectly stated.
Stupid people being misinformed by misinformation and are too stupid to read the facts about the vaccine.
The vaccine will save your life - it's not meant as a political statement, its a health statement....
Just like the dumbass red necks that walk into Walmart, defiantly, without a mask, just to look, well, stupid as hell.
The fact is, the virus kills and doesn't discriminate. If you do get the vaccine, you have a better chance of not getting really sick or worse, dying...
It's sad that its an uneducated people thing now.....

Fixed.

But most GOP support no masks and no mandatory vaccines. So, uneducated and GOP blind followers is accurate.

Thank you President Biden!!
Thank you LA County mandating vaccine for all 12 and over!!!
Finally, this is what the country needs.

Anti-vaxx morons deserve everything bad coming their way. Those people aren't going to pay for medical costs or funerals of the people that fall for that BS. I look at the potential downside of not getting vaccinated, if the virus ain't gonna kill you the medical bills of the hospital stay will.

You know these vaccine mandates work. The Health Center I work at starting requiring everyone be vaccinated as of August 23rd.

As a result, everyone is now vaccinated including people that were "supposely" anti-vax and said it was "poison." I put in quotes because if they really believed the vaccine was "poison", they wouldn't have gotten it.

I love it!! It was needed. Enough of the stupid morons in this country who keep COVID alive and growing. Sick of this crap already.
President Biden’s mandate today alone will require 100 million people having to get the vaccine to work. Enough is enough is right. Stupid people need to go away.

A study out of Israel published at the end of August shows that uninfected, vaccinated people are six to 13 times more likely to get an infection in the future compared to people who are unvaccinated and previously contracted the virus. It also found that vaccinated individuals are seven to 27 times more likely to have a symptomatic future infection than those who recovered from the virus.

Perhaps you have heard about the COVID variants like Delta? Having COVID before and recovering does nothing to stop you from dying of you get the Delta variant. Vaccination is the only way to help prevent you from dying. Those unvaccinated are putting not only their own lives, but everyone else, at risk. I love all the mandates. Make those that refuse the vaccine to be in the minority. Morons.

It is true, or at least true in some instances, that the antibodies from getting covid previously prevent a second infection better than the vaccine. However:

1. That first case comes with the risk of death. Remember, several hundred thousand people have died from covid, and the newer variants are killing younger and healthier people, so trying to get it to keep from getting it again is kind of foolish when you read further down the list here.

2. Getting covid the first time, even if you survive, subjects you to long covid risk, and those risks are not even fully known yet.

3. Vaccinated people are not dying or being hospitalized at very large rates even when they get covid, so the vaccine is a pretty near a sure bet to keep you from dying while getting it unvaccinated is not.

4. Even if you did get covid before, getting vaccinated actually improves bith your defense against getting it over just having had it, and against hospitalization and death.

Bonus, no, ivermectin does not work. They tried it and many other things in India, and they only tried it in some areas, so the claim that it “killed covid in India” is laughable on the face, unless you think giving some people ivermectin cures other people you didn’t give it to.

You might also notice that there are roughly four times the number of people who have received vaccination shots currently as there were when India’s big spike happened. That might possibly have some effect on bringing case counts down, as do better masking and other protocols. And that the decline happened before widespread use of ivermectin…

So why do they never mention that those who have had Covid dont need the vaccination? While those who had a vaccine that is meant to simulate having Covid are safe?

If ivermectin didn’t work, why does India have lower infection rates than the United States has?

Not necessarily support vaccine mandates, but mask mandates are needed during surges, but that’s not what the anti vaxxers are doing, they believe people should have right to choose, but at the same time, they are spreading false information about the vaccines which is very stupid. GOPs are good people with a conservative view on politics, but GQPs are terrorists!!!

I seriously hope you are not using data from India or Africa to prove anything…
If you ever been to India, you know their data is unusable.
1. Natural infection does have strong immunity, but they wear off very quick and that’s why you see people getting infected 2-3 times.
2. Ivermectin works for cow deworming for sure, but jury is still out on Covid. You know what works for covid? VACCINES! Which one was FDA proved? VACCINES! People in India and Africa don’t have access to the vaccines like we do. We have enough vaccines for everyone and then some, and they are also FREE. A Pfizer shot costs $1,395 USD in Philippines, and they still don’t have enough supply. Antivaxxers are using desperate “treatments” from poor countries just to prove a point??

Uh, hello. Please read. Getting the vaccination IMPROVES immunity in those who have had it. And while we are asking questions:

If India allowed the use of ivermectin to treat covid (and we ignore that the drop in cases happened simultaneously to that but before widespread use, and that use wasn’t near universal), how would ivermectin treatment of those already having covid affect the numbers of people contracting it? It’s like saying ventilators used in hospitals on people with covid prevent people outside of the hospital from getting it.

You’re regurgitating a bunch of conspiracy theory nonsense that is not only not based on evidence, it is not even internally logically compatible with its own assertions.

Same playbook as always. Attack articles that report findings that don’t fit the playbook.

Claim they are conspiracy theories despite facts posted by experts. Show facts reported by other experts that fits their narrative as the only truth.

Did you even read the articles and Yes I have been to India multiple times.

20-30% not vaccinesd, and there is no way all of them had Covid before? What about the ones that weren’t previously infected?
India has some nice cities, but outside the major cities, it is a (bleep). 500 people sharing one bathroom. You think their data is useable? Also as Omar said. Ivermectin is a “treatment” for Covid, it has nothing to do with infection rate.

Lets be honest, if you refuse to be vaccinated and decided to use ivermectin as a hail mary treatment, you made some terrible life decisions in your health care. Also Africa and India aren't regions when you think of good health care. I mean they were literally lighting bodies on fire in funeral pyres because they were so overwhelmed with deaths so I doubt they were taking any accurate record keeping.

Take any study coming out of Israeli with a grain of salt.

Why? Because most of the elderly are vaccinated while unvaccinated people are mainly young people. Therefore if you do a study on vaccinated vs unvaccinated, are comparing old people with weaker immune systems versus younger with stronger immune symptoms who are already less likely to die of Covid and exhibit symptoms? Or are you are comparing vaccinated vs unvaccinated on a true unbias way?

Conspiracy theories about ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine
A conspiracy theory going around at the moment is that India began treating people en masse with hydroxychloroquine or ivermectin and that was responsible for the fall in cases and deaths.

AAP fact checked the claim and found it was baseless.

"There is no evidence that new guidance on the use of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine led to a reduction in COVID-19 cases in India," they found.

"In fact, hydroxychloroquine was reported to be in widespread use well prior to the country's second-wave outbreak."

Experts — including the ivermectin's manufacturers — have repeatedly said there was no evidence the drugs were effective in treating COVID-19.

Ivermerctin and hydro are crappy treatments for Covid. And just about any treatment out there for Covid right now doesn’t do much as even the best drop mortality rates maybe by 3 to 4 percent. Something like 29 percent in elderly to 25 percent.

As far as the India outbreak it started when India was allowed to get together for multi day religious holiday, don’t remember the name and many many gathered indoors maskless. After the surge they did some lockdowns and the event ended so a decline is expected.

Similarly same thing happened in Uk. The surge began around same time of Wimbleton and once it ended, a decline occurred.

Nothing magic is going here. Combine these events with a more transmissible delta virus and you looking at a bad situation.

3. Vaccinated people are not dying or being hospitalized at very large rates even when they get covid, so the vaccine is a pretty near a sure
bet to keep you from dying while getting it unvaccinated is not.

4. Even if you did get covid before, getting vaccinated actually improves bith your defense against getting it over just having had it, and against hospitalization and death.

Bonus, no, ivermectin does not work. They tried it and many other things in India, and they only tried it in some areas, so the claim that it “killed covid in India” is laughable on the face, unless you think giving
some people ivermectin cures other people you didn’t give it to.

So why do they never mention that those who have had Covid dont need the vaccination? While those who had a vaccine that is meant to simulate having Covid are safe?

If ivermectin didn’t work, why does India have lower infection rates than the United States has?

No no no no. You’re not going to pull that and think it’s going to work here. Let’s try this again. If the doctor gives you a drug if you get sick with something, how does that stop other people from getting sick? See, India isn’t using ivermectin to prevent covid. They did allow it to be used to treat covid. Maybe you should try to get even the basic logic of your claim consistent before you bring it outside the bubble?

^^^ It's really sad that people who have difficulty comprehending that type of logic are the ones essentially prolonging this pandemic. As someone once noted to me, we've moved on to the dumbest part of the pandemic.
