You think Phoenix will take the #1 seed?

I dont think Denver will drop, they are still winning even without Murray, they are still better than teams below them and they have a much easier schedule.

Yeah I think they will rally with this unfortunate news and play well against the lesser teams but I think this also means they’ll see a fully healthy Lakers team in the first round.

Clippers would destroy Portland. Bad matchup for Dame/CJ.

Clippers did catch a break with this Nuggets news. Feel like the Nuggets are their worst matchup. Utah might give the Clippers problems but their shooting has to hold up.

I'm not really thinking of match-ups. I'm thinking of the ghosts of playoff past would be too much for them. LOL!

Good to know they have a cushion of 4 games from the 7th spot. The next 5 games will be tough:

Celtics
Jazz
Jazz
Mavs
Mavs

Hoping they get at least 2 wins here, which is tough.

Not sure if I should be happy that the Blazers lost or that we should be worried that the Celtics are starting to roll.

I see the Blazers dropping multiple spots well before the Nuggets even without Murray.

Like everyone else is saying these next 5 games will be massive and if we can somehow pull off 2-3 wins that would be a huge success imo and pretty much end any play-in talk . That's if AD and Lebron aren't playing for any of them considering it's so hard to gauge exactly when they're coming back still at this point.

They should both be back soon after if not during that stretch with the remaining season schedule outside of 2-3 games extremely winnable. I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with the 3-4 seed. Even the toughest game we have left which is the Clippers I see us winning since we'll want to send a message at that point with everyone back and gearing up for the Playoff run.

I'm thinking Mavs going up too, as they have pretty easy schedule. They can easily go 10-3 in their last 13 games.

We should be good. We'll likely be 4th or 5th, also avoiding the Clippers until the CFs

The lakers will finish 4th or 5th even if AD and LeBron sit out the rest of the regular season. Literally no reason to worry about seeding or missing the playoffs. Once the playoffs get started, I can’t see the Lakers finishing any worse than 16-2 on their way to another title.

i don't Utah is going to be too happy with he number 1 seed, they might even tank to get to the 2nd seed.

Lakers will likely be 4-5 which means Denver first (since JM is out, we will beat them easily). then Suns/Jazz, and then the real test (clippers if they don't choke).

Like your optimism. But how do you arrive at the conclusion we are gong 16-2 to won another championship?

Even before ad and lebron went down there were issues. Plus they will he rusty when back. Team needs to gel for a bit.

I do think all the rest for lbj is going to pay dividends.

Go Lakers!

Nope, without them the rest of the season will probably put them in the play-in with that tough remainng schedule. They barely won against bunch of G-Leaguers. Mavs is projected to get at least 10 wins in their easier remaining schedule. I dont even think Lakers can get 5 wins in 17 games left without Lebron and AD.

Lakers are pretty much set in their playoff seeding. Can't see them working too hard to move up when the health of team is a priority.

Nah, we dont even have that tough of a schedule actually after this next 5 game stretch is over. The only for sure unwinnable one without them is the Clippers. The Mavs have been losing to bad/mediocre teams quite a bit lately at nearly full strength regardless of what any projections say. Then the Blazers have a brutal schedule to end the season. We'd obviously not play great but nowhere remotely close to winning less then 5 in the next 17........

I don't see the Blazers and especially not the Spurs, Warriors, Grizzlies, Pelicans ending with a better record then us even in a worst case scenario without AD and Lebron. I also don't think the Mavs will either but even if they did that would put us at 6th to end the season and still avoid the play-in.

Kind of pointless to even argue this though because both AD and Bron will be back well before the season is over.

I think Steph is going to send someone home early in a 1 or 2 game play-in. I wouldn’t want to face him in a win or go home situation if I’m Dallas or Portland.
