Ben McLemore will sign with the Lakers for the remainder of the season, source confirms to ESPN. The eight-year veteran has shot 40% or better from 3 in his last two full seasons. He is represented by Rich Paul of Klutch Sports.

Nice move. Still another undersized guard but hopefully he can shoot. Would like a big wing defender.

Not too familiar with him. Can someone shed some light on his abilities? His stats are ehh and he's having a rough year so far shooting the 3. How's his defense?

Thought this might happen. Shooter/scorer but can't play defense

Happy to have as a 13th or 14th man type

That's one of the most up and down profiles I've seen.

Wow haha

Good signing for what is currently available. High volume 3pt shooter which is needed.

I don't think he is a good defender, but I'm interested to see how he does on offense. I didn't know he was was 6'3 tho. I thought he was taller.

This season’s Dion Waiters.

Don’t see him getting playing time from Vogel unless he steps his d up.

So a younger/less problematic volume shooter which we got in JR Smith and Dion Waiters... but without the problematic nature.

Welp, let's hope he finds his shot here.

Well that is certainly a shocker!!! Lol

Hopefully he can start hitting shots and can play some passable defense.

Not sure I’m seeing the fit but I have an open mind about giving him a chance. Lakers can use a little boost about now.

Welcome to the Lakers. Now show us something!

Sounds like a Laker already. This team is 6th in overall 3PT shot quality, and 25th in 3PT shot making.

Klutch with 6 on the roster. Dude won't play much but I guess having a guy who can shoot iff the bench isn't a bad thing.

McKinnie or Dudley could be on the way out now, Lance "Make em Dance" Stephenson is still available and we need a 3&D wing after we just got a big and 3pt shooter.
