Am I too over excited? Hell nah! Kief was an excellent buy out... to bolster our bench, we got a starter! And for those still crying about Dwight, dry your tears! We got an athletic 27yr old rebounding machine!

The better question would have been Drummond or Aldridge

Def. not better imo. I'd take Dwight and especially Drummond over him and it's not even close for our roster needs.

Nets are going all out offense so it makes sense for them since Aldridge can unleash that mid range magic and a few three's thrown in with probably more open looks then he's ever seen in his life.

The legend of Dwight grows... Just like how Rick Fox, D. Fish, B. Shaw, Horry were all perfect role players. We loved them! We never hated them for missing shots an entire game, we never hated Fish for his terrible defense, inability to create shots for himself or others. Nope, don't remember any hate. When you win a chip, it's just rosie memories. But in the case of Dwight, he's becoming Bill Russell around here. LOL!

I’ve always wished that the Pistons gave us on the wrong center, kept Greg Monroe, and we got Drummond somehow. I’ll take Drummond this way as well.

After a few years in the league, I remember thinking I would love either AD on this team, but it was pure pipe. 2021, and we got both. Amazing.

I would definitely prefer Dwight over Aldridge but he wasn't bought out. 🙂

That meme layup play is so over blown. It was a either a dump off to McGee or under scoop layup that got deflected. Look more like a dump off pass.

Which one was that? Was mainly referring to when he got ejected shortly after receiving his championship ring.

Ah the Fisher drinking game. A shot per missed layup. The next morning was always rough!

Imagine if they had planned to give it to him at halftime.

AD. From what I've seen, he's not prone to hot-headed dumb fouls and other bad plays.

His layup(Game 3) against the Celtics and his Game 4 performance vs the Magic are the reasons all the 'toe on the line Fish' stuff is forgiven

that backpeddle smirk.

and the 28 vs the Spurs

Do we have Rondo?

Without Rondo I will take Drummond or Javale even.

With Rondo there to check Dwight, I’ll take Dwight. Doc Rivers even said sometimes Dwight acts more like a 25 year old than the others. And he did stuff like getting tossed versus the clips the next game after being tossed vs us. He takes a lot to deal with on a daily basis

Dwight, he's cheaper, he defend really well, and doesn't need touches. Rebound can be worst with Dwight but the drop off isn't that bad. Did you see how he block Trez? he block like 2 shot while playing for like 2 minutes. Guy was a legit DPOY. We can't cry over spill milk, lets hope this work out.

Did you see how stupid Dwight was getting himself kicked out of the game? I loved Dwight's energy but if he got himself kicked out of a playoff game it could spell doom for us.

Funny thing is, this is what Doc said after the Lakers game...

Quote:
“I just thought it was very selfish play,” said coach Doc Rivers. “You got one tech. You can’t get another one. We just have to have better discipline.”

So what does Dwight do after this?

Proceeds to get ejected for a second consecutive game and supposedly even the Sixers broadcast team were going after him.

No thanks to that drama, we got lucky he was in a position where he was on his best possible behavior and still was extremely close to getting tossed in several games especially after his antics stopped working on Jokic after the first game and was basically just being laughed at a lot like Trezz did.

Still would have obviously liked him back at the beginning of the year but considering we have Dre now it's a massive upgrade and now we can be happy this isn't on our team going forward ready to ignite at any moment.

Good old LG poll. This is almost like the Rondo vs DS poll in which DS got like 70% something. Any GM with half a brain would understand that Dwight and Rondo would be the right choices based on the very scientific LG polls.
